STAR WARS Fan-Art Imagines ALADDIN Star Mena Massoud As REBELS' Ezra Bridger

If a recent casting rumor is to be believed, Aladdin star Mena Massoud is set to play a live-action take on Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka, and this impressive fan-art imagines how he might look in the role.

A Disney+ The Mandalorian spinoff based around the adventures of Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano was confirmed to be in development during Disney's Investors Day last year, and while nothing official has been announced, there are persistent rumors that at least two characters from the acclaimed Star Wars Rebels animated series will appear.

The most recent report claims to have confirmed that Lars Mikkelsen, who voiced Grand Admiral Thrawn in Rebels, will reprise the role in live-action for Ahsoka, while Aladdin star Mena Massoud will play Ezra Bridger.

Now, artist Mizuri has shared some impressive artwork to his Instragam which imagines how Massoud might look as the fan-favorite force-wielder.

Again, Massoud's involvement in the show is far from confirmed at this point, but it is worth noting that the actor did appear to hint that there was some truth to the rumors on social media last year.

In the closing moments of the Rebels series finale, Ahsoka and Sabine Wren embarked on a mission to find Ezra after the young force-wielder was seemingly sucked into a wormhole during his battle with Thrawn. Though these events weren't mentioned specifically in Tano's episode of The Mandalorian, there were a few hints that she might be searching for answers during her confrontation with Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth.

What do you guys make of this Ezra fan-art? Do you think this would be a good look for Massoud in Ahsoka?

I checked this show out in anticipation of the second season of Mando. Glad I did.

Just realized that the Thanos-copter in Loki means The Electric Company is now a part of the MCU... it's from a spinoff comic of the Spiderman bits of that show. Bring back Morgan Freeman! And maybe not Bill Cosby!

Looks wrong without purple eyes.

And why the Rebel flight suit? I mean, I guess he could always learn, but I only remember him ever piloting a ship one time and he almost crashed The Phantom.

Makes sense. Season 1 Ezra was basically Star Wars Aladdin.
