These days everybody is in the land of Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City. Well today I revisit Marvel Ultimate Alliance, is it as good as we remember and does it even compare to DC's current Batman games? Find out next.

Story: Dr. Doom has gathered a group of super villain to form The Masters of Evil, a super villain organization to take over the world, after an attack on the hellicarrier Nick Fury gather's the world's greatest superheros to stop Dr. Doom before all hope is lost. Players take control of the Marvel universe as their decisions help the outcome of the game and alter history in the Marvel Universe. Rate:8/10

Gameplay: The controls are similiar to that of X-Men Legends, but better and little easier. Rate: 8/10

Features: You can create a team of superheros, name the team and you can unlock upgrades, classic and current costumes, and due to the unique story have choices to help shape the Marvel Universe. One that seemed like an impossible choice was in Mephisto's Realm and you had to save either Nightcrawler or Jean Grey. That was hard. You also have the choice of over 20 different Marvel Characters. Rate: 10/10

Graphics: Gameplay graphics: 5/10 Cutscene graphics: 10/10

Overall: Marvel Ultimate Alliance is one of the greatest superhero games and just games in general, of all time. I personally think it's better than the Batman games but that's just me.

Amazing game, one of my all time favorites. The second one sadly was missing some of the magic of the first. Oh well, here's hoping for a third developed back at Raven.

One of the best Marvel games, shame about the second though...

the cutscenes in the game are badass. I remember when I bought the game, I thought that they were real actors.
