The September update for Netmarble's mobile game
Marvel Future Fight has arrived and with it comes four new hero mash-ups inspired by the
Infinity Warps comic book series. As of this week, Arachknight (Spider-Man/Moon Knight), Ghost Panther (Ghost Rider/Black Panther), Iron Hammer (Iron Man/Thor), and Weapon Hex (X-23/Scarlet Witch) are now playable in the action RPG.
As their names suggest, these unique characters are actually a mix of two already established Marvel characters. For instance, Ghost Panther is a fusion of Ghost Rider and Black Panther.
***SPOILERS FOR INFINITY WARPS BELOW***
For those unfamiliar, the
Infinity Warps spinoff series establishes the Warp World, a bizarre new world made possible
***SPOILER*** when ex-Guardian of the Galaxy Gamora - who has taken on the identity of Requiem - acquired the Infinity Stones by using her Power Stone-encrusted sword to defeat Thanos. With her new powers, she folded the universe in half and combined two souls into one, resulting in the Warp World and these wonderful hybrid heroes that are now available in
Marvel Future Fight.
The trailer below showcases these new characters in action while highlighting some of the other new features included in the September update for
Marvel Future Fight.
On a related note,
Marvel Contest of Champions, Kablam's mobile fighting game,
also received a new character in the form of Omega Red.
