So, It has been quite some time, since my last Fancast ( Halloween ) and I think it is time I revived my account with something new. Now, I have seen A few other Fancasts for this series, and I think they have all done decent, some of the casting calls I agree with, others I downright refuse. So, without further ado, I present to you all, My Resident Evil Reboot.
Synopsis - Based heavily on the first Game, we introduce the Raccoon City Police Force, A.K.A, S.T.A.R.S. Following reports of vicious murders and an escaped convict, the S.T.A.R.S. task force, heads into the Arklay mountains, into Raccoon Forest to search for the missing Convict. Not long into their search, the team discovers A missing transport convoy, which has been tasked with transporting the dangerous prisoner. The team is attacked by hellish hounds called "Cerberus" and chased into the grounds of A decrepit mansion, where they discover dark, terrifying secrets, and reveal the truth behind one of their own members secret life.
[ Again, Heavily Based on the first Game, this movie, will stay true to the origin of the first Video Game, Film also focuses innately on S.T.A.R.S. search and retrieve mission. ]
Directed By - Greg Nicotero
[ I have picked Greg as the director, because He is currently at the top of the Directorial choices for anything involving Zombies. His artistic view placed on film, is astounding, and he has mastered A way to bring fear out of the zombie apocalypse. He knows how to make his sets eerie, and is A master of his physical props work. Something notable in my resident evil, as little CGI as humanly possible. Plus, aside from romero, who else could be the better choice. ]

Chris Redfield is an American Special Operations Unit Captain of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, of which he is a founding member, along with his long-time partner; Jill Valentine. Chris is also the older brother of TerraSave member, Claire Redfield.

Tom Hardy
Hardy is the Quintessential tough guy, An amazing actor, who I personally loved in every movie he has ever been in. Call this one, A hardy Hard on... but Chris Redfield in my opinion, would get better qaulity for the silver screen with hardy playing him, more than any other actor. Redfield is a man plagued with so much emotional trauma, that he is slowly breaking down in his life. Watch Warrior with Tom Hardy, and your getting the performance needed to truly bring chris redfield to life.
Jill Valentine -
Jill Valentine is an American Special Operations Agent (SOA) of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, of which she is a co-founder and one of the original eleven members, making her a respected and high ranking operative of the organization. Jill's father was French, and her mother was of Japanese migratory descent

Kate Beckinsale
A woman seen as one of the baddest femme fatales there is, Jill valentine, is one of those ladies who kicks ass, and says [frick] your name. Kate beckinsale, as glamorous and beautiful as she is, is one hell of an action star. Hell, I would love to cast her as Wonder woman as badass as she is. Strong willed, and independent Jill valentine, beckinsale puts the act, in action and the bad, in bad bitch. Watch her, in underworld, or Total Recall, and you'll love how action oriented and talented she is.
Enrico Marini
Enrico Marini was the Vice-Captain of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service under Captain Albert Wesker, and the team leader of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. A veteran known for his "impervious" mental strength, Enrico was a competent and capable mission leader.He was of a clement nature and was well-respected by his subordinates.

Jacob Vargas
Second in command of the S.T.A.R.S. unit, enrico marini is a tough latino soldier, with a sense of justice and a good heart. Vargas, as we all know, has pulled of the good soldier, the good hearted concerned security gaurd, and the tough but :P sensitive, Joker as seen in the movies, The hills have eyes 2, Devil, and Next Friday. Vargas is a good, solid choice to play Marini, who i believe would do justice to the never before done character on the silver screen. He has range and talent, and One of my favorite latino actors as well.
Rebecca Chambers -
Rebecca Chambers was a rookie member of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team, with experience in the field of biochemistry.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Smarter than she is strong, yet still brave in the face of danger, the rookie member of stars specializes in biochem rather than tactics and warfare. Winstead was exactly what I saw for chambers in the movie, The Thing ( 2011 ) and is as solid A choice for chambers as I could possibly come up with. Plus, for a beginner, she isn't bad with a little action.
Barry Burton
Barry Burton was a member of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) and the backup man for the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team. He was in charge of maintaining and supplying weapons for his fellow S.T.A.R.S members

Andrew Lincoln
Stoic, and older, and the close friend of chris redfield, Burton is the reason chris joined the S.T.A.R.S in the first place. The two served together in the Marines, and became good friends. Andrew Lincoln is already loved by Nicotero, and his death in the film, should be an important one. Something Hardy needs to see, in order, to realize what he needs to do to stop umbrella from committing any other heinous acts. Lincoln is stoic, and has a strong presence, coupled with hardy's tough and brash demeanor, he is an excellent mentor and friend.
Oswell Spencer -
Lord Oswell E. Spencer, was the president of Umbrella, a major bio-weapons manufacturer hiding behind a pharmaceutical façade. A man of great wealth and power, he was an aristocrat with a keen hobby in art collecting.[notes 1] He had a vision to remake the world and lead it into a new era, as the world's current state was less than ideal to Spencer. He intended to use the research of Bio Organic Weapons to carry out his vision and mold a utopia for mankind with himself as its ruler.

Bill Nighy
Ancient, and wise, yet cunning and brilliantly evil. Spencer is atop the hierarchy of the Umbrella corporation. Nighy, no casting choice could be better, than this noble actor, who has worked with the likes of beckinsale and others before in such roles as Victor, in underworld, has done the zombie genre before in Shaun of the dead. He brings the wisdom of a man who has seen the evils of this world, and seeks a utopia for which he deems himself worthy to rule. Nighy, is an amazing actor, who could do justice like few others, in this role as the villain.
And last but not least, for this Resident evil Fancast for the reboot is everyones favorite bad guy.
Albert Wesker - "Every day, humans come one step closer to self-destruction! I'm not destroying the world, I'm saving it!"
Power-hungry, knowledgeable and infinitely cunning, Albert Wesker was a man who sought power and domination over the entire human race, all for his own gain. To this end, he was affiliated with the Umbrella Corporation, as one of its most promising researchers, and at the same time participated in illicit activities by going undercover as an officer in the R.P.D. and the leader of S.T.A.R.S. in Raccoon City. Through the course of much betrayal of his allies to further his own plans, Wesker faked his death, gained superhuman powers from a Prototype virus, and worked alongside both the mysterious "Organization" and TRICELL, Inc. He would eventually enact a plot, originally created by Oswell E. Spencer, to transform the human race into powerful superhumans like himself, and be a god to rule over them and a new age. Wesker was the main antagonist for much of the series, surpassing even Oswell E. Spencer.

Mads Mikkelson
Now, as I stated in A comment on the previous resident evil fancast I checked out, James Marsters was cast as Wesker. As much as I like marsters, as he has portrayed some of my favorite villains, such as brainiac, and piccolo, and spike. Marsters doesn't bring the experience, and mystique to his characters that wesker needs. Wesker is power hungry, and brilliant, A genius in his own rights, and Mikkelson, to me, is the only actor with the right qualities to bring wesker to life the way I see fit. He is cunningly brilliant and dangerous, in Hannibal, his role in King Arthur is astounding and artistic, casino royale, his role is brilliant, as the villain. Mads Mikkelson, is atop my list of favorite villainous actors, and in my eyes he earns the right, the portray the ultimate villain of the resident evil series.
As A plus, for my series, he is older, and allows me to introduce his son in A future sequel.
