Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale, will be released June 17, 2005 while X-Men 3 hits theaters May 5, 2006 (quelling rumors that it would be coming out next year). So says Exhibitor Relations Co. which got its information from Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox.
The dates means that Fantastic Four won’t be competing against Batman but instead will hold the sole spot on 4th of July weekend 2005 with a July 1 release.
