Sophie Turner's Jean Grey Enjoys A Spot Of Archery In This First X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Deleted Scene
This first deleted scene from the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse Blu-ray sees Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) channeling her inner Katniss Everdeen. Telekinetic abilities do help with the bullseyes, of course...
Back when Bryan Singer was still shooting X-Men: Apocalypse, the director shared a behind-the-scenes image of Sophie Turner with a bow and arrow in her hands. When the Game of Thrones actress was quizzed about this during an interview, she revealed that her take on Jean Grey was going to be a proficient archer in the movie.
That moment never made the final cut, but in this first deleted scene from the upcoming Blu-ray release, we find out that Miss Grey has been "enhancing" her skills somewhat.
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
X-Men: Apocalypse will be available on DVD and Blu-ray from October 4.
