Shia LaBeouf Talks Indy 5

What does Transformers star Shia have to say about Indiana Jones 5?

It seems Shia has already had the plot pitched to him by Steven Spielberg.

“They’re script writing right now,” says Shia. “I got called into Steven’s office and he pitched a little bit to me and it sounds crazy, it sounds really cool.”

Indiana Jones 5 has been speculated for a 2012 release date but nothing has been confirmed. Harrison Ford is also on board to do the sequel.

Bleedthefreak: I think they need to stop. 'Raiders' was classic. The rest not so much. I think the movies got a little ridiculous and don't see how an Indy well into his sixties is going to work.

The sad thing is, we should have had a couple of INDY's in the 90's since the last crusade till now, same things happening with STAR WARS, GEORGE is leaving it too late.

Come on already STAR WARS eps 7, 8 & 9!

Forget INDY 5.

Anyone else tired of this guy? Shia LaDouche is one of the most overrated actors in Hollywood. Plays the same friggin character for all his roles, just like Michael 'Wimpbag' Cera.

they could just pass it to shia in the 6 movie and make him the new indy and end it there or continue it with shia.

Yeah, Indie needs to stop. Just let it end. As for Star Wars, to be honest I'd like Lucas to step away and hand the franchise to the folks at Lucas Film. Let someone else have a go, not with episode 7, 8, and 9, but with a new series based on either the Jedi of the old republic and Sith Wars, or the new Jedi two or three generations after Luke reforms the order.

I'm an Indy addict.
I need one more fix.
But just one more.
One last one and I'll never ask for another Indy film again.

I agree! The movies have gone by way of "Lethal Weapon." They have way too much comedy and just too preposterous. Connery is nowhere near passing for being old enough to father Ford. Shia is a goof. Ford is 30 years old when in Indy time is maybe ten years later. In all, either reboot or let die. Let Ford join Jack LaLane on the juicer commercials.
