INDIANA JONES 5 Set Photo Reveals A First Look At Harrison Ford's Return As The Iconic Adventurer

Earlier today, some photos from the set of Indiana Jones 5 showed a stuntman playing a younger version of the title character, and we now have a first look at Harrison Ford's return as the iconic hero...

Cameras are currently rolling on Indiana Jones 5 in the UK, and Harrison Ford has now been spotted suited up as the iconic and beloved adventurer. There's no indication here that the actor will be de-aged, so what we saw earlier was most likely a flashback of some sort that ties into the main story.

It's also possible that the plan is to split the movie into the past and present, giving Ford the chance to portray Indy in both his prime and as an older man. We'll just have to wait and see.

Recently, it was reported that the movie is going to revolve around the space race, and we can't help but wonder if that means Indy is heading to the moon (we got aliens in the last instalment, so him actually being the first man on the moon...well, that wouldn't be overly surprising). Either way, this should be a blast, and it's great to see Ford back playing his second-most iconic role after Han Solo.

Indiana Jones 5 is directed by James Mangold, while Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Rayne Roberts are all set to produce the highly anticipated sequel.

Along with the returning lead star, the cast includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, and Shaunette Renée Wilson. Legendary composer John Williams will also be back to provide the score for what we're assuming is Indy's final big screen adventure.

Disney has set a July 29, 2022 release date for Indiana Jones 5 after multiple delays.

@Nightwing1015 - Some people aren't excited about seeing Mr. Ford donning the fedora again... I'm not one of those people. Seeing him in the Indy wardrobe pleases me immensely.

I don’t know why people are excited for this.
I don’t mean to be mean or burst people’s bubbles but Indy 4 was a disaster and Ford is a fossil now.
I don’t see the appeal.
