Jon Hamm Is Wanted For Mark Millar's Superior!

Could the "Mad Man" who fans so eagerly wanted for the role of Superman be jumping in to the movie adaption of Mark Millar's only recently released comic?

Mark Millar starts by stating he already has heard from a potential director and producer:

"One of them I absolutely love and this is definitely in his comfort zone. The other was a curve-ball, a producer who has worked on lots of big family movies with the director he’s proposing, but strangely has never done a superhero flick before."

Also what seemed to be a popular name thrown around for Superman might also be thrown around for Superior:

"But get this: Both guys had casting ideas already and suggested the same dude: Mister Jon Hamm from Mad Men, whom I absolutely love. This is by no means guaranteed casting, but interesting that they both suggested the same guy. Will keep you posted as events happen, but I think this could be an interesting week."

Superior #1 can be found in comic stores today.

From the cover Jon Hamm doesn't look like the greatest choice look wise. But Aaron Johnson didn't look much like the comic version of Kick-Ass either so it most likely wont matter.

Why can't he just finish a comic book, or atleast a volume. Or in this case, just publish the first issue. Damn has Kick-Ass made him cocky.

Wow. At least finish a single volume of Superior before letting it be adapted into a film. Just because you're Mark Millar doesn't automatically give anything you make a fanbase before the first issue even gets read. Let it grow a damn fanbase, if it's even any good, and then cash in on it.

This just shows how lame WB is. Superior is nothing more than a pale imitation of Superman...and now it may get a film before Supes. That is lame. Stupid Millar and stupid WB.

Good lord... To quote the legendary Denis Leary in his best film ever(Judgment Night); "Yap, yap, yap, [frick]in' yap, yap, yap!!!". Or better yet, to quote the legendary Kevin Spacey in Denis Leary's other best film ever(The Ref); "Mother... is it possible for you to just shut the [frick] up for one minute!?!?!?!".
