Well yesterday I was bored at work, and since I am always on this web site while at work, I'm thinking about comics and well superhero's. So I know from the ladies of CBM poll, there's a good amount of ladies on this site but all the ladies in my life aren't into comics, witch does suck.
So I took it upon myself to ask every girl in my phone to "name a superhero".
Well, about 25 got back to me about it and not to my "surprise", most of the answers were what I thought they would be, which made me sad. I'd say it was 50/50 Batman and Superman, one Cat Women and a Green Goblin. I told the Green Goblin girl she was stupid, "lol" couldn't help it.
Me being more of a Marvel fan, I didn't like this that much lol.
But what does that say about DC and that all girls mostly know about them?
Do the DC characters have more appeal to the ladies? I for one don't think so but that's my opinion and opinions are like ass holes, everyone has one and they all stink.
We have been bombarded with Marvel movies X-Men, Spider-Man, Hulk, Punisher, DD, F4, IRONMAN, Blade and a Wolverine movie since early 2000 and DC has given us 2 great Batman movies and a crappy Superman movie in the same time frame.
With 2011 having so many comic book movies in store for us, will this change at all after next year?
Will these better story line comic book movies bring more ladies into the comic book world and open there eyes to other heroes? I know the men they have cast sure might help some.
I'm ready for all the jokes and shit talking that I know I will get and I cant wait to laugh at them.
