Things I like to see to make this POWER RANGERS Reimagining work...

        With the announcement this evening that Powers Rangers "Reimagined" getting a July 22nd, 2016. I thought it would be fun to take a look back as well as head to where this movie may take us. For starters, I am a huge Power Rangers fan. After Turtles comes the MMPR, I watched the original numerous time whether on cable or VHS. I eventually stopped watching after Power Rangers: Space Rescue, but I do have a vast knowledge of the original contunity and hope that is where they base the movie from.
            First, let's start with the villians. We all know and love Rita. During the original theme song. Rita is shown being released from her moon prison. I would love for them to start before that and give us some back story on how she became imprisoned by Zordon( more on Zordon later). I would love for them to take some liberites with the contunity and have Rita and Zed already married and both of them locked away in seperate prisons. Rita locked away on the moon and Zed somewhere here on earth. I need Zed to be in this movie, RIta alone is a bit of a whinny b1tch. He is way more menacing than  an other villians. A great plot would be to have Rita released from her prison along with Goldar. They would begin a search for Ritas' husband Lord Zed. This would Lead Zordon to gather the New Rangers to prevent this from happening. Again, Zed is a must, he could even be CGI or Performance Capture. As for the putty patrol, the overall concept is very cool, but I need them to be a bit more animated than a flock of turkies. No seriously, if you have ever listened to the putty patrol, they sound like turkies.
             Next, True development of Zordon. We have never really known very much about him other than he was once a great warrior that had imprisoned the likes of Rita Repulsa, Lord Zed and Ivan Ooze. I would love to see him actually battle and imprison these villians. Like i mentioned earlier I would like to see an epic opening with Zed/Rita against the Power Rangers and Zordon as the leader(Red Ranger). At the end, the Rangers will win and imprison the pair, but Zordon will have to sacrifice himself. This will lead to the Rangers combining their powers to save only his consciousness. These same Rangers could then build an ALPHA bot to watch over him. When Rita is eventually released from her prison, Zordon will have to emerge and select new Rangers, the ones we know and love to defend Earth. 
              Lastly, the Rangers themselves. Loinsgate is known for being a Teen Hit Factory with the both Twilight and Hunger Games under there belt. With that said I hope they chose actors that can play abit older. I know the studio will want to cast teens and people who can play high schoolers. I want them to go abit older, college kids to be  more exact. Even, if they are freshmen in college, I still think it would play better on screen than high schoolers. My other comment is I hope that they do not cast in the stereo type fashion the original tv show did. Did anyone ever notice the Red Ranger- Popular White Guy, Blue Ranger- Nerd White Guy, Pink Ranger- Athletic White Girl, Yellow Ranger- Asian, and Black Ranger- You guessed the Black guy. Now, after two seasons, they changed out the Yellow Ranger for A Black girl and The Black Ranger became the Asian. Please Lionsgate we live in 2014...it will be ok if the leader can be any Ranger and be an race/sex. Shit, the MMPR Fan Film has the Blue Ranger as the lead and is a female. Good for them, I can't wait for episode one, but that is another article.  I personally would like for them to start with five Rangers instead of six adding the green or white ranger should before a sequel. 
                Honorable mention, yes I do want to bulk and skull in the movie. They would be that comedic relief that every superhero movie is looking for these days. I would just hope their role is minimal and doesn't tie to the plot like they did in the original movie from 1995. So, do you agree or disagree with my ideas for the Power Rangers Reimagined?
