For years, Jis and Trino -a couple of talented cartoonists in México- tried to bring El Santos to the Big Screen. El Santos is a funny parody of the famous mexican wrestler El Santo.



The adaptation includes a very interesting voice casting, including Demián Bichir, his brothers Odiseo and Bruno, Joaquín Cosío (The Lone Ranger)... and Guillermo Del Toro himself!

Ánima Studios (Top Cat: The Movie) is producing. Andrés Couturier & Alejandro Lozano (Matando cabos) are the directors.

El Santos vs La Tetona Mendoza will be on mexican theaters on november. There are plans for release the film on the United States on 2013.
