POKEMON: Awesome Cosplay Brings Fan-Favorite Gym Leader Misty To Life In Live-Action

Regardless of how old those of you reading this might be, chances are you've had Pokémon in your life at some point. If you remember those original games and the animated series, though, you'll no doubt recall one-time Cerulean City Gym Leader Misty. The fiery redhead has become a firm fan-favourite, and made for an awesome female lead in the aforementioned TV show.

Now, one talented cosplayer, supersailorvirgo, has brought the character to life courtesy of a wonderfully accurate costume, a seaside setting, and a Lapras prop which does Misty proud.

Detective Pikachu was a hit when it was released back in 2019, but we've heard nothing since about The Pokémon Company's plans for a sequel or further expansions of the franchise.

It would make perfect sense to make use of live-action versions of characters like Ash, Misty, and Brock. One compelling suggestion online is that a movie could pick up with a has-been Ash (played by someone like Chris Pratt) forced to return to action several years after his glory days.

Check out these awesome cosplay photos below:
