ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Almost Featured Goliath's Powers In A Flashback

For some Ant-Man and the Wasp was the perfect palette cleanser after Avengers: Infinity War, one that sets up a crucial subplot for Avengers 4, as well as an Ant-Man threequel full of potential. Several characters were introduced in the sequel, most of which will be crucial down the line for the franchise. For example, the pairing of Bill Foster and Ghost was one that left much to be desired. Both have immense potential to be fleshed out in the future, expecially due to their existing relationships with Hank Pym.

Director Peyton Reed sat down with Empire, in which they discussed Scott's visit with Bill Foster. In the sequence, the characters compare sizes. At one point in development, Reed explained that there used to be a flashback that focused on Goliath's powers, though it did not reach photography. “It felt, just narratively, it just was too much of a left turn,“ Reed explained.

Do you think Bill Foster will power up in the sequel?
