ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Battle Some Crazy And Creepy Quantum Realm Creatures In New Concept Art

Ant-Man and The Wasp briefly put the spotlight on some creepy crawlies in the Quantum Realm but this concept art shows more designs and plenty of scenes which didn't ultimately make it into the sequel...

Ant-Man and The Wasp may not have stakes as high as Avengers: Infinity War but the sequel is still a lot of fun and it does a surprising amount to move the Marvel Cinematic Universe forward by introducing new characters, developing existing ones, and exploring the mysterious Quantum Realm.

Talking of the Quantum Realm, we have some new concept art which puts the spotlight on a huge number of creatures that didn't make it into the movie as the titular heroes fight them, ride them (really), and generally just get freaked out by them. Needless to say, these are all seriously cool.

These pieces are beautiful and amazing, I really hope we see stuff like this on the big screen in Antman 3.

It probably would have made for less of a funny movie, but I don't think they should have been afraid to explore this type of stuff

If they do a whole movie about an excursion into the quantum realm then this is the type of wacky Fantastic Voyage stuff they should explore.

@MosquitoFarmer - I think that might be a big part of why they held off on jumping in during #2 so then they can play with it in #3 after A4 does whatever it needs to with it

I didn’t think this one was that funny. Watched it at home the other night for the first time. I don’t even think it was trying to be funny in almost every scene like the first one was. I appreciated it, I just thought they focused on the dramatic elements in this one, which worked for me. Anyone else?

I have to admit that looks pretty cool. I think the movie could have easily benefited from more exloration of the quantum realm.

I think this stuff was saved for a 3rd Ant-Man just so A4 could be the first deep dive into Quantum Realm shenanigans

Seeing as Scott is currently trapped in the Quantum Realm, perhaps we'll see some of this type of stuff in Avenger 4 before he finds a way out?
