In my constant replaying of the third Age of Ultron trailer, there are some things that caught my eye (as well as a few theories in mind) that I'd like to discuss. This won't be too long of an article, so grab a bag of Cheetos that is surely somewhere near your computer and let's get this shit over with!

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Tony speaks the words "I tried to create a suit of armor around the world" over this clip, which in my opinion is an obvious continuation of Iron Man 3. In that movie, he never felt safe without his armor on. While it seemed like he was "over it" by the time the film ended, maybe he only further reclused into that state of mind, thinking that the whole world needs the protection--not only him or Pepper.

Here we see Loki's scepter, with some orange hologram being covered by Stark. I'm wondering if maybe that's some kind of portal (like the one Loki came through in the first Avengers) that maybe Stark is trying to figure out?

Age-of-Ultron-t3-4
I'd bet my my Puma Swede collection that this is Wakanda. The atmosphere is very technological, and there appears to be a wall surrounding the city. Maybe I'm wrong, but this hunch of mine feels right.

Age-of-Ultron-t3-6
In the first Avengers movie, Loki tried to take control of Stark but couldn't because his arc reactor was in the way. We know Tony had his arc reactor removed in Iron Man 3, and it just makes too much Whedonic sense for Stark to not be under some level of control. In one interview, Thor actor Chris Hemsworth said something along the lines of the whole Ultron issue being "a little too convenient to what's going on in Asgard." As in it's some form of distraction. Makes me wonder if Loki, Thanos or someone else subconsciously made Tony Stark create Ultron via  the scepter? That's unlikely, but I'm pretty damn sure there's some other angle at play.

Age-of-Ultron-t3-23
I find this a nice parallel to the scene in the first Avengers where Hulk catches Iron Man--they slide down that building before coming to a halt. This time, Hulk and Iron Man are fighting up a building. That's a pretty.. STARK contrast, don't you think? *mischievous smile*

Age-of-Ultron-t3-19
It's hard to tell just what this is inside the truck, and zooming in doesn't help much. Back in Iron Man 3, that kid Harley mentioned to Stark about making a stealth suit, so could that be it? Some have suggested it's Vision, but the colors and physique doesn't really match up (plus there's no cape). I'm wondering if it might not be Ultron Sentry:

Age-of-Ultron-t3-20
We've seen Cap, Bucky/Winter Soldier, and even Agent Carter holding the beloved shield. Now it's Black Widow's turn. Next up: Falcon!

Age-of-Ultron-t3-22
I've really been thinking about how the Maximoff twins get their powers. The prequel comic This Scepter'd Isle makes it clear that they stem from the Scepter, with it still being up in the air on whether or not they are Inhumans. It might be a stretch, but I think it's interesting that the Twins' powers are similar to both the mind stone and the space stone. We know that not only is the Scepter powered by the Tesseract, but they also have a stronger connection, as further evidence by the mentioned prequel comic. Wanda can get inside your head, like the mind stone (remember Hawkeye's words: "Have you ever had someone take your brain and play?"), while Pietro can run to and fro as fast as he wants, just like the Tesseract can take you from one end of the universe to other in an instant. That's probably all bullshit, but I just wanted to mention it in case there is something there.

Age-of-Ultron-t3-30
Iron Man's new suit seen here is of interest to me for two reasons. One, as pointed out by another user on this site whose name escapes me, the armor looks a lot like the Bleeding Edge suit, which was the next step up after the armor used in the Extremis storyline. He can call this suit up to him at any time, from within his body, which would be fascinating to see. Secondly, the armor covering the rib cage and arms is similar to Ultron's same areas. I wonder if there's anything to that?

Age-of-Ultron-t3-35
So... where's Quicksilver? Is he... dead? *mischievous smile*

Age-of-Ultron-t3-38
A lot of people are guessing that this is an Infinity Stone on the Vision's forehead, but I don't know. Which stone would it be? Where would Ultron get it from? He's already gonna have to find Vibranium and all. But hey, anything's possible.

I'm not sure if you're mocking other commenters in reference to Quicksilver not being in the circular action sequence, but I would bet my paycheck that he's just running around fighting. Ya know, since he runs.

One thing I noticed is that Cap is holding on to that car as it flips over. You can see his shield.

You know what I love about these films? I just showed the new trailer to my son, and when Vision opened his eyes, his jaw dropped. We are going to have so much fun with this film. Can't wait.

I think there is a strong possibility that the gem that Vision has embedded in his forehead is the soul gem.

1. It would differentiate him from Ultron and make him want to be more human instead of wiping out humanity.
2. Vision has always had a gem in his head but to my knowledge the gem had no significance on the world around him
3. I don’t think we will be seeing Adam Warlock on the MCU before Infinity war at all and Vision can take his place.

Want to see if that's the Bleeding Edge.
Want to see how the Twins turn.
I don't see that being an infinity stone.
HULKBUSTER!!!!

I don't think it's a gem. It and the one on his chest are what absorbs solar rays in the comics. That's also where he fires his energy beams from. So just more new technology from Ultron I'm sure. Like his red Sith lightning you see him shoot from his fingertips in the trailer. Could be wrong though.

What the hell? @GliderMan. Is NightGlider an alternate of yours and your just playin.........or do you have a stalker? I can loan you a twenty to get rid of him if that's the case.

I do think it is an infinity stone in his head, if you look at the pictures from marvels announcement for phase 3 and the picture of thanos with the gauntlet on it looks like the stone on the thumb. It would differentiate from the comics but marvel is not above doing that. It would make sense since thanos is gonna have to start collecting them pretty soon after this movie. And they still have one more that they need to introduce, maybe in doctor strange.

It has to be the Soul Gem. This is what makes the Vision different from Ultron, the Soul Gem grants the Vision life.

GOTG 2 can still intrduce Adam Warlock, and later in Avengers:Infinity War Part 2, the Vision and Warlock could come into conflict.

My only question is, when Thanos comes for the Soul Gem what will happen to the Vision?

I imagine Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and fellow Avengers guarding the Vision from Thanos, and Thanos just knocking each of them down with ease until he finally walks straight up to Vision, who tries phasing through him, and Thanos just rips the Soul Gem from his forehead. Then the Vision's eyes shut down and he becomes lifeless.

This could be a very powerful and sad scene. After the Avengers defeat Thanos, Scarlet Witch places the Soul Gem back in his forehead and the Vision is alive again, and movie audiences everywhere will be happy again.

Ta-da, I just created scenes for Infinity War Part 2. Your welcome, Kevin Fiege.

@GliderMan That's actually South Korea, not Wakanda.

Solid article though!

@GliderMan Plus, in the earlier scenes of that trailer, you see South Korean signs / characters around some of the frames that has Cap / Black Widow riding motorcycle.

@GliderMan

In the photo with Tony in the lab...I don't see the Scepter...and doesn't Strucker have the Scepter as shown in the mid-credits scene in Cap 2?

Now I see it.

@GliderMan Warlock being in GOTG 2 was just some speculation. I have no preference for when he is introduced, I just hope at some point they introduce him into the MCU.

But something I'm not convinced about is the whole T.H.A.N.O.S. name theory. I'm not sure if it was confirmed yet, but I think that it could just be a big coincidence. I think it would be really cool if it did turn out to be true though.
The H could always stand for something else, or even the N could be for the Vision. I'm really not sure though, I guess we'll have to see the movie to find out!
