It's become clear in recent weeks that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law isn't for everybody, but the introduction of the Intelligencia has definitely piqued everyone's interest.
Seemingly reimagined as a forum for angry men to hate on Jennifer Walters (and the world in general), we have a feeling that a much higher power is pulling the strings. With The Leader set to make his return in Captain America: New World Order, you probably don't need us to tell you where Marvel Studios is likely heading!
However, what you may not realise is that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law doesn't mark the MCU's first mention of this sinister group.
Avengers: Age of Ultron introduced Andy Serkis' Ulysseus Klaue, and The Avengers' file on the villain - who was later killed by Erik Killmonger in Black Panther - revealed that he's a member of the Intelligencia. That lines up with the source material, though this could be an indication that the group is more than just a Reddit-like website.
In the comic books, the group was formed to exchange information between the world's greatest criminal geniuses, and while they eventually disbanded, the Intelligencia was later reformed by The Leader and M.O.D.O.K. In the comics, they convince General Ross to become Red Hulk and then brainwash and transform many of Bruce Banner's closest allies into Hulks.
The Leader operating from the shadows for all these years adds up, and there's already speculation that he may be the one behind the Power Broker's Super Soldier Serum. We're sure Marvel Studios could retcon the group into many stories, revealing that they were behind all manner of events in the MCU.
As for Klaue, he won't be making a return unless it's in flashbacks given his very brutal and definitive death back in 2018.
