If you're a Marvel fan, you're likely still buzzing from yesterday's trailer release for
Avengers: Infinity War. The nearly 3-minute trailer was packed full of awesome
story reveals and suprises, but there were also plenty of Easter Eggs, hidden moments and elements incorporated from the comics that we've listed for you all in one place!

Just Whose Hand Is Tony Stark Grasping?
There are several glimpses of Tony Stark throughout the trailer, but the first shot is probably the most poignant, as he clutches the hand of an unseen individual. Presumably, an Avenger has met their end, but who? Many have speculated this could be the hand of Peter Parker, as this death would hit Tony particularly hard. Of course,
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 is confirmed to take place after
Avengers 4, but it doesn't mean the wall-crawler couldn't be brought back to life somewhere in between. We are dealing with the Infinity Stones, after all.
The Ebony Maw - Not Thanos - Attacks The Asgardians
Tragically, it seems
Thor's effort to save Asgard from
Ragnarok will be all for naught, as we see the Asgardian people (and Sakaarian Gladiators) lying dead as a mysterious figure steps over their bodies. While your mind might jump to Thanos, it's actually his "son",
The Ebony Maw, who is boarding the ruins of Thor's spaceship, identified by his boots and pants. In the comics, The Ebony Maw possesses the power of coercion, making anyone bend to his will. Is this why Loki is handing over the Tesseract? Even more horrifying a notion: what does this mean for Korg and Miek?
Could Someone Else Be Piloting The Hulkbuster?
All signs have pointed towards the Avengers being divided during most of the film. Based on this trailer and the leaked footage from Comic-Con, Tony Stark's screentime seems relegated to scenes with Doctor Strange, the
Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man when taking on Thanos. While he does share a scene or two with
Bruce Banner, the latter is seen joining the fight in Wakanda. However, Tony's
Hulkbuster armor seems to arrive in the nick of time. Could it be possible that someone else pilots the Hulkbuster into battle? Maybe even Banner? It seems a little ironic that Bruce could pilot the machine designed to defeat him. That is....before the
Hulk inevitably joins the fight.
Corvus Glaive And Proxima Midnight Retrieve The Mind Stone
The Vision losing the Mind Stone in his head was all but inevitable if Thanos is to complete the Infinity Gauntlet. A closer look at this scene reveals that it is
Corvus Glaive and
Proxima Midnight who attack the android Avenger, identified by their signature weapons. It seems that Thanos is leaving much of the "collecting" to his children rather than doing the dirty work himself.
Bruce Banner Takes The Place Of The Silver Surfer
The Hulk is seen with Thor aboard his spaceship at the conclusion of Thor: Ragnarok, though the heros will unfortunately be torn apart. The trailer shows us that the Hulk has crashed back on Earth, landing inside Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum (a building that can never stay in one piece, apparently). Eagle-eyed fans will note that this is a clever reference to an iconic moment from the comics when the Silver Surfer crashes into the same building to herald the arrival of Thanos. It's too bad that Marvel doesn't own the rights to the Surfer, but referencing such a moment anyway is pretty awesome!
The "Iron Spider" Suit Incorporates Several Elements Of Different Comic Outfits
He may have turned it down at the end of
Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it appears Peter Parker will have no choice but to don the more advanced Stark-made Spider-Man costume to combat Thanos' invasion. While many fans have pointed out the similiarities to the
Iron Spider outfit from the comics, the suit also seems to take cues from Ben Reilly's costume with the enlarged chest spider. Additionally, the glowing eyes and metallic sheen are very reminiscent of Peter's most recent outfit in
The Amazing Spider-Man.
Thanos' Army Is Made Up Of The Outriders
The Russo's have made it no secret that they'll be pulling from many different sources for
Infinity War, including the 2013
Infinity storyline by Jonathan Hickman. In addition to using the
Children of Thanos (introduced as the Black Order in the comics), the Mad Titan's army will also consist of the
Outriders, who can be glimpsed battling against the army of Wakanda in the trailer. The six limbed beasts are genetically produced assassins, and should make for more than a challenge to the Avengers than the Chitauri were.
Could The Final Infinity Stone Be In Wakanda?
Through a decade of films, Marvel Studios have introduced five of the six Infinity Stones.
Space (
Captain America: The First Avenger),
Mind (
Avengers: Age of Ultron),
Reality (
Thor: The Dark World),
Power (
Guardians of the Galaxy) and
Time (
Doctor Strange) have all been accounted for. What about the Soul Stone? While some speculated that the Asgardian gatekeeper Heimdall could be an embodiment of the stone, it seems likely that it will be located in Wakanda and may be introduced in February's
Black Panther film. This could serve as an explanation for why Thanos' army of Outriders are invading the hidden nation to begin with.
Earth? Or Somewhere Else?
The opening shot of the trailer gives us a look at a red-tinged planet, but is this Earth after an attack from Thanos, or somewhere else in the vast reaches of space? With
Infinity War hinting that it will take the fight off of terra-firma, it's possible that
Iron Man and his team confront Thanos off-world while the rest of the Avengers fend of his army back on Earth.
Bucky And Cap's New Wakandan Weapons
The epic final shot of the trailer shows
Captain America (or is it Nomad now?) and his team of Avengers charging into battle. The magnitude of this shot is incredible, and a close look shows that Cap and
The Winter Soldier are sporting some new gear, courtesy of King T'Challa and his advanced armory. Steve is sporting some nifty-looking gauntlets, while Bucky has a brand new silver-and-gold coloured Vibranium arm.
