Now that the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is with us, it appears as if we can expect to see plenty of awesome merchandise from the movie! The first wave has arrived in the form of cup toppers which are surprisingly detailed and actually pretty cool. As you'll see by clicking below, these feature the likenesses of character such as Spider-Man, Thanos, Iron Man, Hulk, and the now slightly older Groot.

There are a long list of other characters who could have been chosen and it will be interesting seeing if most merchandise ends up revolving around this lot. It would make sense if that's the case anyway.

Which of these would you be most tempted to pick up? How excited for Avengers: Infinity War merchandise? Check out the images below and then let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

Spider-Man

The suit really doesn't look all that different to the version from Spider-Man: Homecoming here but that's probably because the plastic is unable to get over just how shiny it is! Either way, it's fair to say that this is a good indication the wall-crawler is going to look pretty awesome as an action figure.

Thanos

Thanos' head obviously won't be that big in Avengers: Infinity War but he'll be able to make it look however he damn well pleases once he has the Infinity Stones! His casual appearance hasn't sat well with some fans but the Mad Titan looks pretty damn cool and that gauntlet looks good on him.

Groot

Adolescent Groot doesn't look anywhere near as cheerful as when he was a baby and it's interesting seeing that he still has that gaming device we saw him playing with at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Perhaps he'll end up spending most of the movie playing with his new today!

Iron Man & The Hulk

Here's the whole gang alongside Iron Man and The Hulk. While the Jade Giant doesn't look any different, Tony Stark is rocking a very cool new armour which is quite clearly based on his the Bleeding Edge tech from the comics. What new capabilities it has obviously remains to be seen for now.

Jeremy Jahns was right... Thanos dresses like a pick up truck driving red neck in a wife beater who says things like get your ass over here boy lol

this should settle all the murmurs about Thanos' ultimate shade of purple, with him having been colored differently in his previous appearances.

his design for IW is so much better than the one in Guardians after looking back at it.

Would it have killed them to give Thanos at least ONE giant Amore's shoulder pads or something. He looks so bare bones

@SecretWarrior - I'm assuming after he gets the power stone from Xandar, he takes the armor off. In an interview with IGN Joe Russo said:
"[Thanos] has a more casual approach in this film, and it's very philosophical for him. It's part of his character definition. It's a spiritual journey for him to collect the Stones, and one with which he doesn't need armor. Once he starts acquiring the Stones, he doesn't need armor in the same way he did when he was a war lord. It's a very symbolic costume."

@DukeTogo13 - Exactly

@DukeTogo13 - yeah I had seen that interview. My feeling is Thanos would never take anything for granted. He always has to have the upper hand and plan for possible problems. But then again, infinity war in the comic does show him get cocky when he gets the glove, so maybe it will be part of his un doing (again like the books)

@SecretWarrior - I hear you, he is always ahead in his chess moves. He sure has a smug pepe look on his face and the wat he stepped through the portal gives off the vibe of being very cocky.
