AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Writers Tease The Appearance Of 'Rocket Raccoon'
Now that Star-Lord is making his way back home for Avengers: Infinity War, will any of his fellow Guardians be tagging along? According to writer Christopher Markus, a furry little friend just might be...
The roster for Avengers: Infinity War Part One and Two is a mysterious one, and whoever is on it will be joining what could be the greatest battle to ever take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not too long ago, the Russo brothers revealed that Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) would be heading back home to Earth for the battle against the Mad Titan, but the whereabouts of the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy during the Infinity War is still remains a mystery.
During a recent interview with The Verge, Avengers: Infinity War co-writer Christopher Markus teased the possibility of the appearance of a furry little Guardian while speaking about keeping the characters in Infinity War grounded. "Whether they’re a 12-foot purple guy, or a raccoon, or an android, they’re all people, and we’re going to write them as people," said the Captain America: Civil War writer. "You can’t write them any other way. So, ideally it will stay grounded because you’ll completely understand why the characters are doing what they’re doing, and you will in some way or another empathize." Are you excited for the possibility of seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Infinity War?
Avengers: Infinity War will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and is being written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Part One hits theaters May 4th, 2018, and Part Two May 3rd, 2019.
