AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR's Josh Brolin Is Really Feeling This Thanos-Joker Makeover

Will Josh Brolin's Thanos have anything in common with Heath Ledger's Joker? That remains to be seen as despite a three-phase buildup in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, how the Russo bros. will approach the Mad Titan in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 is currently a mystery.  Still, something in the fan image below spoke to Brolin as he felt a strong desire to comment on what he believes was an experimental performance that's more apt to be found in a museum or low-budget Off-Broadway play rather than a multi-million dollar comic book blockbuster.

"There’s just something about this that I love: a creative, out of the box bent on one of the greatest roles and times playing a role I’ve ever had. Doing Infinity War was like doing a limitless black box experimental theatre piece in the lower Eastside of New York City in 1975, mixed with Antonin Artaud, the living theatre, Grotowski’s Poor Theatre and a dash of punk rock acting surrounded by shiploads of talent. It’s once in a lifetime."

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018 while Avengers 4 arrives a year later on May 3, 2019.
