Avengers: Endgame updates a lot of the costumes worn by the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most popular characters, but there are two heroes, in particular, who ended up looking quite a bit different.
Following the events of her solo movie, Carol Danvers donned a totally different colour scheme in this superhero ensemble and the Russo Brothers even decided to give the hero her sash. The red and blue colour scheme was definitely unexpected, and pays homage to the comic books by referencing the costume worn by the original Mar-Vell.
As for Rescue, she looks downright badass, and while it sounds like Gwyneth Paltrow has retired from the MCU alongside Robert Downey Jr., there's no denying how cool it was to see her in action.
The "Nano Gauntlet" created by Iron Man was also on display, and that will actually be available to buy next year from Hot Toys. To check out these photos, simply click the "View List" button!
Heading into Avengers: Endgame, none of us expected Captain Marvel's costume to receive such a dramatic overhaul. After all, leaked images had shown us just a slightly updated version of the suit from her solo outing! Kudos to Marvel for keeping this a secret.
As for Rescue, a number of leaks confirmed that the hero would have a role to play here so her appearance - and the purple suit - were no great surprise. It looked even cooler than we imagined, though!
It's a shame that Gwyneth Paltrow has chosen to leave the MCU alongside Rovert Downey Jr. because seeing more of Rescue in action would be awesome. One of the coolest costume designs in the MCU, her armour gives Iron Man a run for his money.
You have to hand it to the Russo Brothers; they know what fans want to see! As well as giving Carol Danvers her sash, they also opted to give her costume a Mar-Vell inspired colour scheme!
The costumes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are on display here and they look a absolutely awesome. We're not sure about you guys, but we'd kill to get our hands on a replica of Stormbreaker because it really is this franchise's most badass weapon.
The Stark Gauntlet (which is being referred to as the Nano Gauntlet) is front and centre here and, well, it looks absolutely breathtaking. It played a key role in the final battle and was wielded by both The Hulk and Iron Man (well, sort of, as he incorporated the Infinity Stones into his armour).
