Earth's Mightiest Heroes are on the way to Wakanda, and when this scene begins, T'Challa has already evacuated the city and engaged its defences in preparation for Thanos' arrival. The Quinjet lands and out steps Captain America, Black Widow, The Falcon, and the Scarlet Witch but the latter is busy helping The Vision as he clutches his stomach after a brutal beating courtesy of The Black Order.
As they walk inside, they're met by Bucky and members of the team continue to pour out of the vehicle, including War Machine and Bruce Banner but the highlight comes when Cap meets back up with his old friend. They embrace for the first time and joke about "little green men" invading Earth.
Banner, meanwhile, bows to T'Challa and The Falcon can't help but take a swipe at Bucky. "Are you gonna snap and kill someone if they say bologna sandwich?" he asks. Things then get serious:
"How big of an assault should we expect?" the King of Wakanda asks.
"A pretty big one, sir," Cap replies.
"Well I have my King’s Guard," the Black Panther says. "The Dora Milaje…"
Falcon interjects again, "And a semi-stable, frozen 100-year old man."
Sounds pretty awesome, right? This scene takes place shortly before Thanos' Outriders invade Wakanda on the hunt for the Power Stone, a battle Kevin Feige has said takes up the entirety of the third act. With any luck, there will be some big twists and turns here as the movie ending with the Mad Titan emerging victorious just to set up Avengers 4 runs the risk of being a little predictable.
