AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - Thanos Invades Wakanda And We See More Of Vormir In This Epic New Concept Art

The first wave of Avengers: Infinity War concept art has found its way online today and it not only focuses on Thanos's attack on Wakanda but also shows some designs for the Red Skull's home or Vormir...

We were expecting to see plenty of concept art from Avengers: Infinity War last month but the movie's "Art of" was delayed until November so we've yet to receive a look at how Marvel's talented team of concept artists envisioned the epic ensemble. Thankfully, one artist - Sean Hargreaves - has now shared some of his work from the movie and to call it all awesome would be a massive understatement.

As well as getting to see Thanos's invasion of Wakanda and the work which went into creating those awesome vehicles T'Challa's army rode into battle, we also visit New York City and Vormir, the planet we were reunited with the Red Skull on moments before the Mad Titan chose to murder Gamora.

This is all really cool and provides a great new look at Avengers: Infinity War so I highly recommend checking it out. To do so, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button to see all of this new concept art in one go. Once you've done that, be sure to let us know which piece is your favourite!

Goddammit i love concept art, and not only because it can be used as awesome wallpapers, is great to know how different people envision these stories trough the art flowing on their fingers, love it.

Also i loved how these:

sound like some pissed off rabid dogs, i jumped when they suddenly cut to them in the movie lol

@JosephCronos92 - yep it's scorched into the forefront of your conciousness. Kinda like walking in on your parents smashing, not as painful though.

Did the Scarlet Witch kill ALL of those aliens with one hit? I can't seem to remember seeing them anymore, after she entered the battle.
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 1:24 AM
@Luminus - I believe she starched them...yes sir.
Luminus
Luminus - 6/10/2018, 1:35 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - She needs more screen time. I hope they develop her more.
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 1:41 AM
@Luminus - I feel they haven't done the character justice aswell, kinda like Quicksilver. I don't complain about these movies much or anything for that matter. It's a shame they threw him away like that.
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 1:45 AM
@Luminus - I can from a storytelling POV why they left her out of the wakanda fight mostly. Wouldn't have been as good if she just came down and catsmashed Thanos and his army. I do think she could have put up a interesting fight against Thanos early in the movie before he iced out his gauntlet.
Luminus
Luminus - 6/10/2018, 1:47 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - Nah. Thanos was unstoppable the moment he got just one Infinity Stone. He was playing around with most everyone, after that.
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 1:51 AM
@Luminus - she destroyed a stone though. Was it just the mind stone that she was able to do that to, Or could she have done that to any of them?
Luminus
Luminus - 6/10/2018, 1:54 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - Hmmm. That's true. Maybe she was the only one capable of stopping Thanos the whole time?
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 1:59 AM
@Luminus - I didn't mean that in a smartass way it anything lol. I'm genuinely curious if she could have destroyed any of the 6 stones, or just the mind stone. I can't remember if it was ever elaborated on or not.
Luminus
Luminus - 6/10/2018, 2:00 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - I wasn't being sarcastic. I literally just came to conclusion, because of your comment.
GwenLantern
GwenLantern - 6/10/2018, 2:01 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - I think she could have done it to any of them. In the MCU, her powers come from the mind stone, but they are powers that affect reality and are coded with the same color and imagery as the reality stone, so I believe that the stones are linked, in this way, in the MCU. Much like they are in the comics (like when Adam Warlock "Reaches out to the five from the one" in Infinity Gauntlet).
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 2:10 AM
@Luminus - sorry about that mate..im used to certain individuals getting butthurt or sassy rather easily. They shouldn't blame others for running fresh out of kotex in time of bitc..I mean need
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 2:13 AM
@GwenLantern - wasn't Warlock a part of the soul gem in the comics? Or was he himself the actual stone..some shit I can't remember.
GwenLantern
GwenLantern - 6/10/2018, 2:28 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - Something like that. He had the soul gem on his head, (like Vision with the mind stone), but then he gets trapped within the sould gem along with Gamora and Pip the Troll and a coupe of others (Drax maybe?), but he uses his connection with the soul gem to communicate with the 5 other gems and gain control of the entire Infinity Gauntlet. Or something along those lines. I keep meaning to re-read the whole Thanos/Starlin saga, at some point.
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 2:35 AM
@GwenLantern - I want to badly..I was 19 now I'm 30 and I have trouble seeing after 20-30min of trying to read anything

@GwenLantern - 19when I read it last
GwenLantern
GwenLantern - 6/10/2018, 5:08 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - ikr, I used to read everything when I was younger, now I get most of my funnybooks on Comixology, because it's easier to read (LED screens are probably gonna make me blind a lot faster, though, but it's worth it).
BloodyBed
BloodyBed - 6/10/2018, 9:00 AM
@DEATHSTR0KE - you also gotta remember the emotional state she was in.

AND her powers were linked to the mind stone.

Maybe that’s the only way she could destroy one.
DEATHSTR0KE

Poor Red Skull...an entire planet that has nothing but his base jumping platform. Maybe there's a KFC down the block.

Vormir was my favorite scene. Followed closely by the Vision/Scarlet Witch moment at the end (which I just noticed was ripped straight outta Giant Size Avengers #4, right down to the "I love you" at the end).
DEATHSTR0KE
DEATHSTR0KE - 6/10/2018, 2:29 AM
@GwenLantern - my favorite scene was hands down at the very beginning when Thanos snaps Loki's neck and walks over and throws him on the ground in front of Thor. I realized this movie was going to be unreal at that moment lol.

It's cool to see Thanos in that armor but taking it off him in the movie made him feel more human and relatable which I think worked to the films benefit

Can't wait for Cap to get that shield. And as much as people hate the Avengers suit (It looks fine without the helmet either way) at least we will definitely get to see Captain America in proper red, white, and blue. The suit has gotten very muted, though it makes sense with his character progression.
