SPOILERS: Leaked AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Toys Reveal Major Story Details And Some Massive Surprises

Avengers: Infinity War has been shrouded in secrecy since before cameras even started rolling on Marvel Studios' biggest movie to date and while the first trailer shed at least a little light on what's to come when Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy assemble to do battle with Thanos, there's still an awful lot we don't know. Well, these leaked LEGO sets may finally change that.

While it's important to note that toys such as these tend to be a little unreliable (they're often made based on concept art and rough ideas or altered to better suit being a playset), they often contain plenty of reliable intel and that seems to be the case for the six sets which have now been revealed.

From Peter Dinklage's secret role to the character wearing Tony Stark's Hulkbuster outfit, the location of the Soul Stone, Thor's new weapon, and the movie's final battle, there's plenty of exciting reveals here which leave us plenty to talk about. So, click on either one of the buttons below to check them out and then be sure to let us know your Infinity War thoughts and theories in the usual place.

"The Search For Thor's Weapon"

9qDP7Tp.png

Minifigures include: Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Thor, Unknown Infinity Stone

Join the Avengers, who are trying to find the ax-thunderbolt for Thor. Sit down in the cab of the rescue capsule with Rocket, Thor and Groot and go into space. On the way to Nidavellir you will meet many enemies, you can be protected from them by shooting from the thorns. Land on the red planet to charge Tor’s power plants in the space forge. Find the stone of infinity, untwist the energy ray and create an amazing ax-thunderer!

So, we're heading to the home of the dwarves in Avengers: Infinity War and that pretty much confirms that Peter Dinklage will be playing one of them (most likely Tor based on this description). While Mjolnir has been destroyed, the God of Thunder forging a new weapon to battle Thanos with makes perfect sense and it appears as if it's going to be called the "ax-thunderer." Not a bad name, really!

"The Hulkbuster Fight"

0UIHZ89.png

Minifigures include: Proxima Midnight, Falcon, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Soul Stone

Danger! Proxima Midnight captured the shooting tower and shoots on Hulkbuster Bruce Banner! Smash the missile installation of the shooting tower with the powerful fist of Hulkbuster and crush the six-armed enemy. Reflect the punches of the Proxima Midnight. Order the Falcon to dive down to take away the stone of infinity of souls.

Remember those fan theories that it's either Bruce Banner or Black Widow in the Hulkbuster armour? Well, this set confirms that it's the human alter ego of the Jade Giant and it should be fun seeing The Hulk smash his way out of that. This also reveals that the Soul Gem is indeed kept in Wakanda.

"The Battle In The Sanctum Sanctorum"

klFJr0z.png

Minifigures include: Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man

Emergency! Kull Obsidian and Ebony Mo are attacking the Holy of Holies of Dr. Strange! Together with the Spiderman, jump off them from the roof. Unite with the Iron Man and Dr. Strange and use their powers to repel super villains. If Ebony Mo is able to penetrate the bedroom of Peter Parker, lead him from there through the secret hatch. You must stop the evil invaders before they blow up the wall of the Holy of Holies Dr. Strange and get the stone of infinity of time. After defeating your enemies, order pizza and celebrate it with Peter Parker!

Yeah, that is one seriously weird description! It seems this set is a combination of Peter Parker's bedroom and Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum but the key thing to note here is that we are indeed going to see the wall-crawler's new costume make use of four extra arms in this battle.

"Attack Of Riders"

U4dWson.png

Minifigures include: Captain America, Black Widow, Outriders, Space Stone

Unite with Captain America and the Black Widow to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from the invasion of foreigners. Avoid the fire from the thorns of the landing ships, restrain the attacks of six-armed enemies and attack, using the shield of Captain America. Pounce on the enemies with the truncheons of the Black Widow and get the cosmic stone of infinity!

"Corvis Glaive Attacks"

EEf9lMx.png

Minifigures include: Corvus Glaive, Vision, Black Panther, Shuri, Mind Stone

Protect the Wall of the Wakid from Corvus Gleiv and his thresher! Shoot at the threshing machine of double guns-thorns and a disk shooter. Quickly open the gate so that the Black Panther can enter the battle. But do not forget to close them immediately, so that the enemies do not break in. Help Shuri to remove the infinity stone that controls the mind from the head of the Vision. Can you do this before the thresher crushes the wall and destroys the diagnostic setup?

So, while The Vision clearly will lose the Infinity Stone on his forehead, it won't be because of one of Thanos' minions! Instead, it appears as if Wakanda's top scientist Shuri will find a way to remove it while presumably figuring out a way to ensure the android keeps his powers or at least survives!

"Thanos: The Last Battle"

TKzrpJe

Minifigures include: Thanos, Iron Man, Star Lord, Gamora

Together with the Avengers, start the fight for the Glove of Infinity! Shoot at Thanos from the ship’s thorns. Open the cockpit and attack the space bike along with Star Lord and Gamora. Avoid the blows of Thanos’s huge sword and use the Iron Man’s power units to defeat Titan’s supervillain. Having won, grab the golden glove of infinity and fly away.

Well, this is interesting! It appears as if the final battle will revolve around Thanos - wielding a massive sword - taking on Iron Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy as they attempt to retrieve the Infinity Gauntlet. Tony Stark has clearly upgraded his armour too as he's rocking some serious firepower here.

@WakandaManAreU - Stop being an ass. Lego sets have been unreliable in the past (IM3 etc) but there are SIX individual sets all for the same movie. Common sense says that at least some of the information contained will be spoilery. The Bruce Banner reveal in particular as a lot of fans assumed that from the trailer.

Toys tell us a lot of interesting things about upcoming movies. Like, did you know that both Darth Vader and Luke are secretly transformers?http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Star_Wars_Transformers

@Nerdman3000 -
The reason behind this set is actually based on two different aspects of the movie;

• One of the ending aspects of the movie would have included Hank Pym putting on the suit to help and setting up the idea that he would go look for Janet in the sequel.
• The other reason is that Lego wanted to include another figure to justify the pricing of the set and decided to include a variation of the Ant-Man suit worn by Hank Pym during the flashback scene.

Either way it told us about aspects of the movie, it's just a matter of fan interpretation.

Even the boat chase set from Iron Man 3 was at one stage going to happen.

The only Lego Marvel Superheroes movie set that was never going to happen was the Mandarin being in the small vehicle

@Scarilian - And what's your far-fetched explanation for this?

Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 6:06 PM
@L0RDbuckethead -

Honestly i had forgotten about that one.

The key thing to note with Lego sets is the idea of 'play-ability in a box' and that they are based on concept art a majority of the time.

In this case we haven't heard of the latter so it's most likely the former - they wanted to have some play feature in a set that was otherwise occupied with heroes.

Not sure why Kaecilius was not included, but i expect it was due to budget as Mordo, The Ancient One and Doctor Strange are more iconic. The constantly changing concept art for the character could have also been a factor;

L0RDbuckethead - 1/14/2018, 3:15 PM
@Scarilian - Not sure what Kaecilius has to do with that set or the monster included in it, but my point is these sets are very unreliable and shouldn't be taken super seriously. Yes, there are some things factual about them, but they shouldn't be taken so seriously.

@RickGrimes - huh? Never saw anywhere that dinklage will be in the hulkbuster or even anywhere near earth
Argetlam22
Argetlam22 - 1/13/2018, 6:15 PM
@RickGrimes - I was really hoping that he would be the king of dwarves, maker of the infinity gauntlet, not...tyr? God of war? Looks like machete? Clearly not the most relevant Norse figure unless tyr is hanging out with king eitri. Which would be totally awesome but sounds more like Thor 4. Throw in a frog Thor and the Celtic God of thunder and you got a good story. But yeah, Peter dinklage is probably the king of dwarves. In the movie, not as a person...

Asturgis
Asturgis - 1/13/2018, 3:15 PM
@MeAreLegend - That armor from the last Thanos fight look like his Deep Space armor with bigger booster wings. I like Starboost better, but it looks pretty damn cool.

MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:31 PM
@Asturgis - Yeah the starboost armor from Iron Man 3 lookes really cool. I really liked the white and grey parts of the suit. Made it look like something built for space travel (probly just the color scheme). Shame it was totally wasted in Iron Man 3 though
Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 3:33 PM
Primary basis is the Bleeding Edge Armour mixed with some of the aspects of the Invincible Iron Man Armour.

It can basically warp/shift to meet the users needs including larger thrusters and a massive cannon.

MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:37 PM
@Asturgis - The armor in the lego set is not the Deep Space Armor.
Its this one
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 1/13/2018, 3:39 PM
@Scarilian - I wonder if they'll how far they'll go. Like will they really have his armor stored inside of his bones like in the comics? I mean the warping and shifting functions can be explained with Liquid Metal

@MeAreLegend - I wonder how far they'll go*
Scarilian
Scarilian - 1/13/2018, 4:29 PM
@MeAreLegend -

In Avengers he had the ability to call his armour to him via a wrist strap.

In Iron Man 3 his armour could be manipulated via implants in his arms

In Civil War he had armour that unfurled from his wrist strap.

I expect he'll have Armour hidden in aspects all over his body that will deploy automatically - the only aspect that cannot be automatically deployed would be the chest arc reactor so he gets that re-installed in his body.

They could arguably do something somewhat similar to Killmonger.
