Lou Ferrigno Will Be "Involved" In The Avengers

The actor who first brought the Hulk to life on our tv screens says that he will be involved in Joss Whedon's Avengers in some capacity..

Ferrigno has gained legions of fans thanks to his portrayal of the Green Goliath next to Bill Bixby's David(Bruce sounded too "gay" apparently!) Banner in the old CBS tv show. He also voiced The Hulk in the animated series. Now Ferrigno has revealed to Nukethefridge that he will play a part in The Avengers..



he doesn't reveal in what capacity he will be involved, but I assume its to voice the computer generated Hulk as he did in the previous film. He also had a cameo in that and in Ang Lee's Hulk as a security guard.

oh yeah! Well it was in both then, because he is the security guard that walks out of the building with Stan Lee in Hulk.

This guy is ace. He's the voice of Hulk in TIH as well as appearing it it so im guessing he'll lend his voice to Hulk in Avengers. Dunno about a cameo but how awesome would it be to have him, Stan and all the main creators cameo at some point - maybe theyr all in a crowd that gets saved by The Avengers. Ultimate easter egg moment.

stan lee is the greatest, always in every show or movie haha crazy guyy. he was in both hulks, like you said a security gaurd and also he was the one that drank the soda with bruce's blood in it

Excellent! It'll definitely be the voice of the Hulk, but I hope he gets a cameo as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent or something as well. :)

Nah dude. I like that show, but I haven't seen too many episodes. I think my friend told me about Lou on King of Queens before. He just seems like a really down-to-earth guy. Have you seen Pumping Iron? Now that's an awesome movie.

He'll do the voice and perhaps even the voice for the one on the TV show. I hope to see him as a security guard in this one, though. He was on "Hulk" and "The Incredible Hulk".

@ fattieacid - sorry to correct ya dude. You're right, he was in both Hulk films; in Ang Lee's as a security guard talking with Stan Lee, but in Louis Leterrier's Hulk it was Stan Lee who drank the juice with Bruce's blood in it. Lou Ferrigno played another security guard who gets a free pizza of Bruce.

But back to the article, it was obvious he was gonna be voicing the Hulk in The Avengers.
