A day or two ago, I noticed a Tweet related to The Avengers filming in Cleveland, stating that Jeffrey Wright and his family had been spotted in a restaurant in the city. Big deal, right? Well, I got in touch with them to ask what exactly made them think he had anything to do with the movie, and the actor apparently told this person (who works in the establishment he visited) that he was there to shoot it!

Having asked around, I've been able to confirm nothing more than the fact he IS there, but just how accurate this information was I don't know. I would like to point out that I only spotted this Tweet by chance, and so it's not a case of someone getting in touch because they're looking for attention! As with any rumor, take it with a pinch of salt, but I trust this person, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see either way!

Jeffrey Wright is awesome. He's one of those chameleon like character actors who can do anything, whether it be a drug dealer (Shaft), slimy bureaucrat (Syriana) or CIA agent (Casino Royale).
