It's A Lonely Life For The Dark Knight In Hilarious New Trailer For THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie, and it gives us a better look at The Joker, the role of Barbara Gordon, and why exactly the tiny Caped Crusader decides to allow Robin serve as his sidekick! With respect to Wonder Woman and Justice League, this looks like 2017's best DC Comics adaptation, and it's almost certainly going to be a worthy successor to The LEGO Movie.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Based on this new trailer, that's going to be tough for him!

Also starring Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Zach Galifianakis, The LEGO Batman Movie will be in cinemas worldwide on February 10th, 2017. Let us know your thoughts on this sneak peek below.

Are the Lego movies stop motion, for some reason the animation makes me kinda sick. It's hard for me to watch lol

@hufflepuff69 - I'm pretty sure that they're not stop motion, but they animate it in a way to make it look like it could be.

@EnnisFan - Basically this. Normal CG uses motion blur and other effects to make it appear like it's realistic, but they are intentionally making it seem stop-motion-y.

It doesn't bother me except when they do explosions and water effects and things. That does genuinely get to me.

Thank god SOMEONE at Warner knows how to handle a DC property because those involved with the DCEU sure as [frick] don't.

@Dotanuki - WB has no idea what to do with their characters. Only a matter of time before we see a chibi superman movie.

I really liked the Lego Movie but that one had Miller and Lord writing and directing. I'm not so sure about this one.

@MrDandy - I think it's still the same general creative team from The Lego Movie working on it so it should be fine. :)

I... don't like this.

I loved the Lego Movie and really liked Batman in that as a subversion of what you'd expect for the character, but this seems like a whole movie of that. It's like when a TV show has a break-out supporting character and then they try to do a whole spin-off based on them.

Could be fine, and it's certainly inoffensive to me as a fan, but I can't imagine myself getting excited about this. I am also pretty Batman'd out, though. Maybe if they'd done a whole Lego Justice League I'd feel different.
