There's a lot of talk surrounding Todd Phillips' Joker movie and not all of it is positive. That's because fans are understandably sceptical about just how necessary the movie is, especially as it's a) going to be a standalone story and b) is unlikely to include Batman. Regardless, it's definitely going to be interesting seeing how the movie comes together, especially with such an impressive cast.
Joaquin Phoenix is, of course, playing the Clown Prince of Crime but during a recent interview, the actor made it clear that he's unfazed by the pressures which come with playing the iconic villain.
"I could care less," the actor admitted. "I don’t really think that much about what people think. Who cares, who cares? My approach to every movie is the same. What I’m interested in is the filmmaker and the idea of the character." That's fair enough really but is quite a contrast to what he said last month when he said that playing The Joker in this movie "scared the f***ing s**t" out of him.
