THE BATMAN Prime 1 Studio Statue Seemingly Reveals That The Dark Knight Will Have White Eyes In The Movie

Prime 1 Studio has revealed its statue that will be released to tie into The Batman, and it seemingly confirms that this version of the Dark Knight will have a cowl with the white eyes from the comics.

Prime 1 Studio has shared a first look at their statue for The Batman, and it features some intriguing reveals about the DC Comics adaptation. However, before we get to those, it's worth noting that this is quite a stylised piece that's potentially based on early concept art for the movie.

Either way, the biggest talking point here is the fact that the cowl has the white eyes fans love from the comics. While Robert Pattinson's eyes can be seen in some shots (just like in the trailer), it appears that the statue comes with a couple of interchangeable heads so you can choose which look to go for. In Jim Lee's DC FanDome poster, this Batman also appeared to have white eyes.

Again, while it's possible this is just a cool design that Prime 1 Studio knows fans will appreciate, it seems unlikely that they'd release this statue without it lining up with what we see on screen. If Matt Reeves has found a way to make those eyes work, it will be pretty incredible, and seeing as this Batsuit has a "homemade" feel about it, we wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve as the movie progresses.

We also get a closer look at some of the costume's finer points and Batman's grappling gun.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson starring as Gotham City’s vigilante detective, Batman, and billionaire Bruce Wayne.

Also in the star-studded ensemble as Gotham’s famous and infamous cast of characters are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel; Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred; and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

The Batman is set to be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
