Prime 1 Studio has revealed its statue that will be released to tie into The Batman, and it seemingly confirms that this version of the Dark Knight will have a cowl with the white eyes from the comics.

Prime 1 Studio has shared a first look at their statue for The Batman, and it features some intriguing reveals about the DC Comics adaptation. However, before we get to those, it's worth noting that this is quite a stylised piece that's potentially based on early concept art for the movie.

Either way, the biggest talking point here is the fact that the cowl has the white eyes fans love from the comics. While Robert Pattinson's eyes can be seen in some shots (just like in the trailer), it appears that the statue comes with a couple of interchangeable heads so you can choose which look to go for. In Jim Lee's DC FanDome poster, this Batman also appeared to have white eyes.

Again, while it's possible this is just a cool design that Prime 1 Studio knows fans will appreciate, it seems unlikely that they'd release this statue without it lining up with what we see on screen. If Matt Reeves has found a way to make those eyes work, it will be pretty incredible, and seeing as this Batsuit has a "homemade" feel about it, we wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve as the movie progresses.

We also get a closer look at some of the costume's finer points and Batman's grappling gun.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson starring as Gotham City’s vigilante detective, Batman, and billionaire Bruce Wayne.

Also in the star-studded ensemble as Gotham’s famous and infamous cast of characters are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel; Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred; and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

The Batman is set to be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.

I love that it finally explains what the darts on the gauntlets are. They’re the line launchers he uses for his grapple gun.

I also guess this confirms the rumours his mask gets destroyed after the car explosion, prompting him to update it to something stronger.

I’m loving the practicality and military equipment feel to this Batman.

But after watching it again... I’m not sure if this confirms the new mask or just interchangeable heads.

Probably the latter.

While this would be cool, it could also just be the company throwing in an extra comic book like head to help sell it to people who just might want a really cool looking Batman statue.

@RyConn93 - I'm positive this is the case.

@RyConn93 - Either that, or maybe he has some kind of lenses in his mask that drop down for certain things. Remember, Batman had white glowing eyes in the Dark Knight movies when he was using that certain tech.

But I'm thinking its just an alternate head swap. Mostly because this Batman doesn't seem to have high tech equipment like in the Dark Knight, and because one of the heads on this statue clearly shows his eyes.

@CorndogBurglar - that sounds crazy high tech for the batman running around in a modified muscle car for a batmobile.

@Origame - Yeah, thats what I'm saying.

@RyConn93 - The statue is based on Jim Lee's poster from last year. That's why he comes with the comic book headsculpt. And that's confirmed by Prime 1 themselves.

Looks good! If this does well I hope this is a start of a franchise that can get enough traction to flesh out Batman's rogue's gallery, because I'm going to need Mr. Freeze to have another crack at it. I guess I'm just spoiled by the animated series version!

And I would totally love a Clayface storyline, yes, also similar to the animated series version. Could be quite poetic and actually give the audience something to talk about since we live in an era of social media with filters and hiding who you really are to put forth a certain image....could be some meaty stuff there!

@Turtlestrong - I've always wanted to see Batman's weirder villains. It gets tiresome only seeing the main ones.

I'd love to see Clayface, but unless they make another reboot and just go balls to the wall comic crazy with it, I can't ever see a movie getting made with him that isn't some toned version of a guy that makes clay masks as disguises or something stupid like that. We'll never see a giant shapeshifting clay monster.

Early on there were rumors that Mad Hatter would be in this, so I'm holding out hope for that. And I would personally love to see Ventriloquist an Scarface in a movie. They wouldn't even need to be the big bads.

I almost feel like this movie could have shown a bunch of villains if it wasn't so early in Batman's career. Having a murder mystery as the story would have lent well to Batman visiting a bunch of his villains to question them about the killer.

@CorndogBurglar - That would rock if we got to that point. I always dreamed of that too, an opening or a scene where Batman deals with Ventriloquist. Maybe someday...

It's obviously not what Pattinson will look like. We've already seen the look in the trailer. He's no where near that built...the cowl looks like a rubber hollween mask ...and there's no white eyes. Hopefully ...this is what it'll turn into as the movie(s) processes.

@dragon316 - At no point in this rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
