Straight off from watching the new avengers tv spots who would've guessed I started thinking of The Dark Knight Rises. But I happened to see the trailer again and thought of something. Look at this shot
its bruce with his cane. This shot comes in while Alfreds monologue is playing he says that he hasnt protected him but if he has been out of the game for 8 years what has he failed protecting him from being batman no because he wanted him to remain batman in the last movie. So I think this is in the middle of the movie maybe near the end and Bane breaks his back and he is out of the game again healing for the next couple of months and he is almost back and has a cane to help with his rehabilitation. His back is probably broken in this image
So thats my input on this tell me what you think
