Dark Knight Viral Campaign or April Fools Madness

It’s that time of year again where one can hardly trust the news you read; even here, maybe. And the biggest prankster of the lot may have led us in to a trap. Check out the latest developments for Batman the Dark Knight and what The Joker is up to now.

Warner Bros. have been going gangbusters in their attempt to make the most of the ‘viral marketing’ craze. First the focus of The Joker, since the untimely death of Heath Ledger the focus has turned too Harvey Dent.

Not long ago those who had signed up for news on Dent were informed that he was in fact running for District Attorney. But with April fool’s Day just hours away – depending on where you live (it’s already here in Aus) – the latest round of marketing may all be a joke on our behalf.

Nevertheless, best to play it safe.

Make sure you check out ccfabg.org, the home of Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham. Allegedly, Harvey Dent is as corrupt as your local police officer, if you live in Gotham. However, one would imagine that with the amount of power that the underworld has in Gotham, this could be nothing more than malingering from the corrupt cops and law officials Dent is targeting.

The whole thing is founded by Joseph Candoloro, who can be found at JosephCandoloro.com.

The ‘Ha Ha Ha Times’ has updated its site with a new defaced Gotham Times front page. The Joker is definitely unhappy with Dent and his apparent effectiveness within Gotham. Who knows what the Joker will do?

Lastly, head along to ClownTravelAgency.com where something is definitely going to happen on the ‘4-01.’ Could this be the new trailer, or just the Joker having his April fool’s Day fun?
