BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is heading to Washington D.C

Even though filming is currently in Detroit it seems as though at least a portion of Batman V Superman will be set in Washington D.C.

Looks like in addition to Detroit doubling as Gotham, it will also be doubling for Washington D.C. Now, why do you think Batman V Superman is in Washington D.C? Does this mean Holly Hunter's character is a senator? Or that the government inspired Justice League is true? Or a CADMUS/ARGUS reference?

@BabyGroot

That's actually pretty cool. We need a new picture of Batman though. One where he isn't standing in an awkward pose.

On topic, this is consistent with the rumor that Holly Hunter is a senator.

As someone familiar with the DC area. This has nothing to do with Batman v Superman. Metropolitan is a DC thing and does not refer to Metropolis whatsoever.

I could see Cadmus playing a part. I also could see Gordon Godfrey being in DC and talking down Superman. I hope there will be no scene like in Justice League: War. I wasn't a fan of that movie, so I want to see nothing like that.

WTF!! We were JUST in DC today...smh They might be taking inspiration from the comics where Superman is becoming a yes man for the president and etc. Dagggg, it's bad enough that I missed out on Transformers: DoTM filming in DC and THEN Captain America: TWS in DC and now Batman v. Superman?!?!?! Give me a break!!

@BlackIceJoe

Justice League: War is based on JL: Origin which has some really cool scenes I wouldn't mind seeing in a film someday.

Does'nt the General from Man of Steel have to convince "Washington" that the people of Earth can trust Superman?

I wonder if Luthor or Wayne will oppose it?

Great. Let's add to the nightmarish traffic of DC already.
