BATMAN VS SUPERMAN Crew Currently Camera Testing
Yet another tease from the Batman vs Superman production has drifted our way. This time, Diane Lane revealed that most of the cast assembled in Detroit in recent days and she has personally "felt" the new Superman suit as well. Check it out!
In recent weeks many cast members of the highly-anticipated Batman vs Superman have headed to Detroit for the upcoming production, and in doing so have lead many fans to believe that filming has begun. However, that doesn't appear to be the case. The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with returning crew member Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and she dropped a few bits about the production in the interview:
The actress told THR that she just came back from Detroit, where they’re doing camera tests for the highly-anticipated sequel. She said that she filmed a few shots of her feeling the Superman costume and joked that she hadn't had the chance to do the same with the Batman costume.
This seems to make sense considering we've seen Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Tao Okamoto travel to Detroit (although neither Cavill or Affleck have remained in Detroit since then). It may also further strengthen the speculation that the blurred man in the photo above is indeed Ben Affleck. With camera tests currently taking place, it shouldn't be too much longer until we get more official news on the production. It's been rumored that filming will begin on May 19th, but this should be taken with a grain of salt (as per usual).
