Is Zack Synder a genius? Is the BVS trailer spoiling everything we want to see? Is Doomsday all there is? This guy does not believe that. There is greatness in DCCU, Let me show you how deep the rabbit hole could go!

I believe there is a bigger bad guy behind the last two DC films. I believe he has been been lurking in the shadows since MOS. Oh I am not talking about Darkseid either. The one and only Brainiac! We all heard people complain about one potential plot hole. How can Lex manipulate kryptonian DNA and tech? Well I’m gonna go back to MOS for a minute. If you look back in about the first 10 to 15 minutes of that movie, The whole Krypton is dying part, You will see two AI but we only hear from one. A female but who is the the other AI floating around? at 0:25



 
He seems a little important, a type of superior AI. I believe that is none other than Brainiac! We were shown hints of him through out the whole movie! 
 
 
How does this play into BVS? What if some how he approaches Lex or Lex discovers him? It would explain how Lex knows how to alter Kryptonian DNA. If you look at new trailer for BVS at around 2:13 during Lex’s whole “If a man can’t kill a god then the devil will do it” blah blah. In the back next to possibly Bizarro superman? You see a fuzzy figure that’s hovering around. Looks an awful lot like that golden trimmed AI from MOS! Is this Brainiac!?



Is he the real big bad that is being setup in these movies for Justice league? I’m gonna jump and say YEAAA BOIII!!!

Ummm Interesting.. if its Brainiac, I would loved.. but there is not enough evidences to prove that, n the two AI Which u see there with Lara,are Jor-El's n her.

They r like companion robots or like smart phones i guess.

People think they have been spoiled? lol really? watch each sequence of the trailer, especially the last minute or so..not a single sequence is a continuation.those are different sequences mixed together.hell when ww defends with her shield, batman is not even in it,but in the latter he is.

Snyder Rocks.

He's directing Justice League too, so it's definitely possible that he left some hints in MOS to who he may have wanted as Justice League's big bad.

I can't [frick]ing wait, I'm loving everything that the DCEU is doing

I dont under stand the hate Zack Snyder get!

I think is one of the best director for a comicbookmovie. if not an ok director.
He himself is a big comicbook fan!!

I mean, he is the guy who fought with WB studio's to show Dr.Manhattan dick in the movie just like the novel! LOL!!
He also tried hard to keep sup underwear out side in mos.. sadly the studio didnt approve.

He gave us the Reboot of the cult classic Dawn of dead. which is one of the best Zombie movie.
He made 300! Which is one of the best/ if not one of most popular action film in the last 10yrs.

He made the impossible happen with Watchmen!!. Finally made the movie, and is regarded as one of the best comicbookmovie by many,

WATCHMEN was not only ahead of it’s time; but maybe it’s own audience as well. it was before the Avengers n the hype.

MOS.... i think its a good movie, may be not the greatest movie.. by still a good superman movie.. n in no way a failure.

The watchmen is good example that Zack can handle a big movie like JLA!
So ya i think we r in good hands n BvS is gonna be awesome!!

Although the possibility is there....both of the robot companions were on Krypton with Lara when it blew up. And Kal only went in his pod which had no other goodies in it. The bot behind him is just one found on the scout ship. There were probably a couple of them around.
Hope to see Brainiac in one of the Justice League movies. But as an alien, not a the robot version. More like Geoff Johns version.

Jor-El and Lara had two robots: Kelex and Kelor. Both were destroyed on Krypton. The scout ship had at least two security robots, the one that attacked Clark and the other that attacked Lois. Clark destroyed both.

It is likely that Lex has found a way to control the robots.

As for Brainiac, I hope they save him for a Superman sequel. Otherwise he's not going to have any bad guys left.

He's talented when it comes to making striking images, but that's about it. He's really got no sense of how to coherently piece each image together to communicate an idea to an audience.

It's like cooking the most gorgeous, delicious-looking steak ever. Then splattering it across a framed photograph of Sharon Stone, a Rolling Stones album, and a painting by Vincent van Gogh. All four of these things (if you include the steak) are lovely and beautiful on their own, but splattering them all together just ruins them.

The same way any one of Snyder's shots are beautiful when taken at face value. But when you look at every shot in the movie, all edited together, it's just a mishmash of random shit without much point or thought given to any of it.

Brainiac would fit perfectly into the 2019 Justice League film, which could also serve as an introduction to DC's two cosmic franchises, New Gods and Green Lantern. I know there's gonna be Parademons in BvS but to me that looks more like a cameo, they're boom tube marauders. They get in, they get out, and neither Supes nor Bats has any clue where they came from, but Bats goes ahead and blames Superman again anyway for being an alien, which would almost synch up with the line about "he brought the battle to us." 2017 seems too soon for Darkseid to show up, how many times have we seen Thanos? Three goddamn times and a fourth goddamn time in GotGVol2. That kind of build up is a necessary evil.

Brainiac's involvement in antedeluvian Krypton could be an interesting prelude to a Brainiac movie, even if it's just an excuse to get Crowe and Shannon back into their costumes.

@Sonofthecbm - If you can read HTML there's an image code you can use, otherwise I think now they recently updated Manage Articles so you can copy and paste pictures right into the editing box, it's a lot simpler than fidgeting with the Source Page button.

Brainiac is my fave Superman villain (two versions at least, don't have as big a background in DC as I have in Marvel) so maybe I can hope...

I liked how Snyder handled Zod, and Zod's gang too, Faora, Jax-Ur, Nam-Ek, I don't feel like he gets enough credit for that stuff, and Kelex and Kelor, etc
