Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) has confirmed that he will appear in Hall H at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but also briefly weighs in on what makes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's writer Chris Terrio and the work he did on this movie so amazing. Hit the jump to check it out...

Collider recently caught up with the always "cheerful" (watch the video above) Jesse Eisenberg, and quizzed the actor on whether or not he'll be in attendence for the Warner Bros. Hall H panel at next month's San Diego Comic-Con for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"I’ll be there…I think I’m there for the hour I’m on the stage," he confirmed with little to no enthusiasm.

One subject The Social Network star was keen to talk about though was his admiration for Chris Terrio, the Oscar winning Argo scribe who was brought in to tackle both this movie and Justice League. "I like what this writer does, this guy Chris Terrio. He wrote this movie we did and I just think he’s so great. He’s such a good writer. I like what he does with characters, I like what he does with wordplay and cleverness. I like anything he writes." What do you guys think?

Why do I get the feeling that this is spoken like a guy who has no idea what goes into writing and simply does whatever the script tells him to? Not that actors have any obligation to becoming writing proteges or experts or anything like that, but it's just funny that this boils down to "Yeah that guy, I like what he did, he wrote the movie, he writes good, he's a good writer."

Haha in any case, I have SO much more faith in Terrio than I did with Goyer, so I'm excited.

Praise Xenu for Chris Terrio.
blackandyellow - 6/18/2015, 1:33 PM
Nom, yeah it's shaping up to be the best one in recent memory. All the movies, all the shows, all the new developments with the Big 2 in comics. Should be awesome.
FightAs0ne - 6/18/2015, 1:36 PM
Besides the impressive cast, Chris Terrio is the only reason I have hope. If David Goyer had an upper hand on the script, hype would be down the crapper.

An hour presentation is a long [frick]ing time. They weren't kidding about going nuclear this year.

People,

You need to understand how these press junkets work. An actor (sometimes more then 1) sits in a room for HOURS on end.. while different Media Types come in, they have 10-15 minutes, and they ask the same questions over and over and over and over again.

So depending what order Collider got in.. this could be near the end of the day where Jesse is exhausted from answering the same crap all day and just wants to go home. Regardless of how much money he makes, we ALL go through the same thing. We aren't all chipper, excited and gung-ho for hour entire 8+ hour shits.. we have our down times where the clock seems to slow down or stop completely.
MisterBatfleck - 6/18/2015, 1:36 PM
1 glorious hour.
jerryblake - 6/18/2015, 1:36 PM
that's the second guy (besides Ben) who is telling that the writer did a really good job.

bigdannymac - 6/18/2015, 1:37 PM
^^^ LMAO - I made a number of spelling mistakes

8+ hour shits... lmao - Meant SHIFTS
Manta4000 - 6/18/2015, 1:37 PM
I hope Eisenberg brings more enthusiasm to his performance as Lex Luthor than himself in this interview. PLEASE... be good.

Any day now WB confirm what Deadline reported

WB finna cook, and we finna feast

Sorry I know some folks out there feel this is inspired casting. But I just don't see it. He lacks personality and always seems to play the same role in every film. His lack of enthusiasm here is concerning but I can't read too much into that. Not a fan of this casting right now but hopefully he'll change my mind once the trailer drops.

@jerryblake - "that's the second guy (besides Ben) who is telling that the writer did a really good job."

It's also an endorsement that Terrio has been attached to write both parts of Justice League for a while, so WB/DC were pleased with his work on BvS.

@SauronsBANE

Eisenberg has been involved in many films. I think what he saw and read impressed him very much, but just simply can't phrase it eloquently.
imkennypowers - 6/18/2015, 1:45 PM
@DrDoom

This one and the chickens one were my favorite.
DraculaX - 6/18/2015, 1:45 PM
Eisenberg still has his hair. Unless he has a bald cap over him, I think he doesn't appear in Suicide Squad
JorEllinator - 6/18/2015, 1:45 PM
@SauronsBANE

Well, Eisenberg has written a few plays so I'd say he knows at least a little bit about writing. Y'know, just a teeny tiny bit ;)
TronVin - 6/18/2015, 1:46 PM
IT'S [FRICK]ING ON!

SauronsBANE - 6/18/2015, 1:47 PM
@SteveRogers9 That doesn't necessarily mean he knows much about the actual writing process outside of his own character, but yeah I hear you. I'm mostly just having fun and I totally don't hold this against him or anything, but I love how this quote isn't exactly the height of eloquence here haha.

I've actually come around on his casting recently. Not what I would've picked, but I think he has enough talent and range to do it justice.
SauronsBANE - 6/18/2015, 1:48 PM
@JorEllinator Is that right? Welp, I stand corrected!
blackandyellow - 6/18/2015, 1:48 PM
Fett, I don't believe any of these actors when they talk about how much they like comics or the characters. They have publicists that tell them what to say.

SteveRogers9 - 6/18/2015, 1:51 PM
@TheAmbassador How is it clickbait when the title says exactly what is reported?
imkennypowers - 6/18/2015, 1:52 PM
@blackandyellow - "Fett, I don't believe any of these actors when they talk about how much they like comics or the characters. They have publicists that tell them what to say."

That's a great example and too funny.
FrozenDiamondz - 6/18/2015, 1:52 PM
WB lagging it with their SDCC schedule
UltimaRex - 6/18/2015, 1:53 PM
@SauronsBANE Considering Eisenberg writes stage plays, no.
