The Marvel tech team has been working hard these past few days. First the Stark Expo website launched, next the
Iron Man 2 movie site received a complete overhaul; now,
The First Avenger: Captain America has its own dedicated page.
It appears Marvel was waiting for the official Captain America casting press announcement to be released before putting the Cap web page in place; which had many a fanboy and girl constantly refreshing their browsers over the past few weeks in an effort to catch the update. Though the site currently only has a few features, one being the standard Marvel movie casting scroll bar, we should expect plenty more to start rolling in (similar to the
Thor movie site).
The wait is finally over. The trifecta is complete. But stay tuned, True Believers, since all three main characters have been cast this little statement on the Captain America movie site could hopefully mean that an
Avengers movie page launch may be imminent:
"The First Avenger: Captain America" joins "Iron Man 2" on May 7; 2010, "Thor" on May 6, 2011; and "The Avengers" on May 4, 2012.
I even have an idea for the first update Marvel
should add to it: the casting choices for Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne.
