The Marvel Movie Website Trifecta is Complete

No need to keep refreshing your browsers, Captain America finally received his own movie web page at Marvel.com; next up, The Avengers...

The Marvel tech team has been working hard these past few days. First the Stark Expo website launched, next the Iron Man 2 movie site received a complete overhaul; now, The First Avenger: Captain America has its own dedicated page.

It appears Marvel was waiting for the official Captain America casting press announcement to be released before putting the Cap web page in place; which had many a fanboy and girl constantly refreshing their browsers over the past few weeks in an effort to catch the update. Though the site currently only has a few features, one being the standard Marvel movie casting scroll bar, we should expect plenty more to start rolling in (similar to the Thor movie site).

The wait is finally over. The trifecta is complete. But stay tuned, True Believers, since all three main characters have been cast this little statement on the Captain America movie site could hopefully mean that an Avengers movie page launch may be imminent:

"The First Avenger: Captain America" joins "Iron Man 2" on May 7; 2010, "Thor" on May 6, 2011; and "The Avengers" on May 4, 2012.

I even have an idea for the first update Marvel should add to it: the casting choices for Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne.

Be sure to check out the Cap movie site at the link below to read Marvel's official statements regarding Captain America (Chris Evans), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and director Joe Johnston.

Kick ass. Hopefully we can fend off Leterrier just long enough so Avengers can get someone else behind the camera.

I'm still surprised that they wont be doing Iron Man 3 before The Avengers but then again, I guess that RDJ will be tied up filming that movie so in that respect it makes sense. Anyway, good to see things starting to take shape! Fingers crossed we'll hear whether Weaving's accepted the role of Red Skull next...fingers crossed that he has!

Guys, check out my DAREDEVIL Fan Cast!!! Just click the link!!!

Gimme some Pym, Hawkey, Black Panther, Wonderman and Moon Knight. The Avengers with just Thor Iron and Cap seems a bit underpowered for such an epic film.

OZY: Dude, why wouldnt you want a third Iron Man movie in 2012!? I'm glad to see Cap and Thor making their way to the big screen as well but that doesnt mean I want to see Iron Man neglected - I want to see these movies come out on a regular basis every two years! :P
