Diamond Retailer held their annual summit and Marvel was on hand with several choice bits of news. One of the more prominent bits of info dropped is that the Ultimate Version of Captain America, who has been seen since the "Death of Spider-Man", will make his reappearance in the continuity.

Little is known about his reappearance other than the fact that it will take place this summer, although a specific date hasn't been announced, and that it won't be in his own title, but rather in the pages of one of the existing titles, and that Cap will have to “struggle with a decision that no superhero has ever had to make before.”

Captain America has had a major impact on the Ultimate line, while not being physically present for very much of it. Many of the back stories of the various Ultimate characters are tied to Cap, or more notably, the Super Soldier Serum.

Is this an intriguing development? Will Cap returning make a difference to the Ultimate line? Sound off below!
