COMICS: Check Out A Preview Of DEADPOOL #45 #250 - Final Issue

@abhishake yeah they do that on "throwback issues" of deadpool. The joke is that they are pretending the issue was written and drawn during infinity gauntlet. They've done it before.

FOX Says: Our Deadpool movie is really turning our great. It will be a success.

Disney Says: Is that so, well, we're going to cancel the comic book series that the movie originates from. If we do decide to keep publishing Deadpool it will be almost completely unrecognizable from the past issues.

Fox: Haters gon hate.

If Marvel owned the X-Men, then we'd probably never see a Deadpool movie. And even if we did, I couldn't see Marvel releasing an R-Rated film. I'm not saying Marvel wouldn't make better more comic-faithful X-Men films, I'm just saying Deadpool is one case where we probably wouldn't have seen the character on film if not for fox.

@ManCalledSting they are referencing popular story lines from around the time of infinity gauntlet. As I said above the idea is probably to pretend that this is a comic that was written around the time of infinity gauntlet and never published. It's a preferred gag of the writing team on this book.

@ScionStorm the whole Secret Wars event is a ploy to reboot the continuity and make in more inline with the Cinematic Universe. In the end, all the mutants and X-men characters will be put on the back burner, and Deadpool's stand alone series will come to some sort of an end.
