Did the artist get paid for that Spidey stuff? 'Cause it looks like my niece drew it.

Spidey has been great, but the first issue of X-Men was just 'meh'

The art, like a lot of it, from Marvel lately, is terrible.

Then again, Marvel is putting out mostly sub-par titles these days. DC isn't too far behind either.
Too much emphasis on "new". New does not mean better or improved.

The art looks great??? Did they post different panels after i saw this...let me look...nope double UGH! Again! I love Marvel but I agree with the others who say the art work and some stories have been crap since the Marvel Now era began.

That Spiderman art looks like a nightmare on acid. Sheesh.

It's supposed to look like an acid trip. Peter's been drugged.
Unfortunately the story isn't anywhere near as great as the art.

It seems the art in every new comic is just absolute crap! Marvel should be embarrassed to keep cranking out this garbage...

Not sure how anyone could think this art sucks. Go read some Leifeld or something. Or maybe get glasses.

So, according most of you guys, unconventional art is bad art. That is seriously some great logic right there.

the people at Marvel have been making great efforts to release inovative and imaginative comics lately. These two above (+GOTG) look amazing and show that Marvel artists still have a certain kind of freedom in their work. It's quite obvious that they are enjoying themselves here, and personally I love that.
I pity those who are unable to enjoy originality unless it becomes a trend.

Jeez, it's not nice to look at. Either of them.

Ahahaha... super ugliness!

I will give proper kudos to MK:SM with the breakdown of the page itself. I really like how unique it is and does have TINY pieces of quality art (Venom biting Peter's arm in black and white looks pretty great), but its not nearly enough to get me to read it (even for free) when there's so much bad art surrounding it.

Since Marvel NOW! begun, Marvel has been putting out some of the worst art and creative decisions since Heroes Reborn (Jim Lee's art is still great even if the stories werent).

the paneling or lacl of paneling is hard to follow

Yeah. That's the point. Spider-Man is drugged, so he can't follow reality.
