In the X-Men's new "From the Ashes" era, mutantkind's very own pop princess has a song that will unite the masses - and paint a big target on her back - in an all-new Dazzler comic book limited series.

From rising star Jason Loo (Sentry) and Marvel newcomer Rafael Loureiro, Dazzler kicks off this September and today, you can check out three all-new variant covers for the debut issue.

Among the new covers is a piece by Yasmine Putri and a special "Windowshades Variant Cover" by Marguerite Sauvage, both depicting Alison getting ready to hit the road for her world tour. And, like many of Marvel's major launches, Dazzler #1 will literally dazzle at comic shops with a Foil Variant Cover.

That incredible piece by superstar artist Kaare Andrews spotlights Dazzler in her beloved '80s costume.

Here's the official description for Dazzler #1:

Dazzler, Marvel’s glittering mutant songstress, has been in and out of the limelight over the years – but now the time has finally come for her to take center stage! Dazzler embarks on a new world tour, the culmination and celebration of her entire musical career. But while Dazzler may be ready to focus on her music, her celebrity-mutant status and a violent attack may sideline the entire endeavor before it’s even begun...

"Rafael and I are giving everyone backstage access to the greatest show of the decade: the Dazzler World Tour!" Loo recently said. "Sounds exciting? Not for Dazzler when she’s facing tons of pressure from all sorts of people trying to cancel her shows. But she’s not going down without a fight."

When the series first launched, there was talk of it likely being Taylor Swift-inspired. Why? Well, because just one of the many rumours floating around online suggests she'll show up as Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine!

Variant covers like these would be the ideal place to pay homage to the singer if that was indeed the case, but we see nothing of the sort here. Plus, last we heard, Swift isn't going to appear in the movie (she may, however, play the MCU's Blonde Phantom in the Scarlett Johansson-produced Disney+ series).

Check out these new covers for Dazzler #1 below and don't miss the concert - and comic - event of the year when the series launches later this year.

What the frack is going on with the anatomy of her on that first cover, that is some warped shapes her body is contorted into that are physicaly impossible unless you've got stretch armstrong powers

@Apophis71 - I love to see the old late-80s costume, but you're right, that is some Liefeld-level misapprehension of the human body.
