Hall H erupted in celebration at last night's Comic Con with a surprise panel for Marvel Studios Avengers film, with the entire main cast appearing together for the first time!

Sorry folks, The Avengers teaser trailer was so sudden and unexpected that I doubt anyone captured it on film, but here is the panel video with cast introductions by Samuel L. "Nick Fury" Jackson and Robert Downy Stark Jr.

Now you can tell just by hearing the reactions filling the room how great this event was in person. It was the perfect culmination to a phenomenal Comic Con:

I think an official version of the Thor teaser will eventually be available, and soon. It wasn't like the Iron Man 2 chopped up footage from 2009 SDCC. The Thor teaser seemed like it was packaged for release, with "Thor" and "2011" flashing at the end.

The Cap one, I don't think so.

i think RDJ saved ruffilo from nerd descrimination.

i utterly loved norton as bruce, but since that dream is now crushed. i say giv Ruff'en-stuff a chance as banner.

Although we got some great info and those who were lucky enough to be there got to see some epic sounding footage, the whole thing was a bit of a let down in terms of any huge announcements...but that's probably just my crushing disappointment that Ant-Man (Nathan Fillion) and Wasp weren't part of the cast on stage! :P Still, with two years to go I can still hope!

was the avengers trailer played before kevin feige came out?

i ask because the way the video cuts to black before sam jackson comes out, it would make sense to have had the teaser then, as it was his voice doing it, it just seemed weird with the fade to black, like the teaser was cut out.

i just need to see it lol.

I don't know why a lot of people don't care about
Hank & Jan? It puzzles me extremely! Why
such hatred for them that a lot of people don't
want them in THE AVENGERS??? Why such hate???!!!

They are half of the formers of the first AVENGERS!
Hank created Ultron! Why no respect for them?
Hell, they are even in the damm Ultimates! WTF???

THEY ARE HALF THE FORMERS OF THE FRAKKIN' AVENGERS

I'm talking about the teaser trailer that was played with nick fury talking about " on that day the avengers assembled" or something to that effect

the same trailer that is mentioned in this article, so yes there is a trailer, the first official teaser trailer

Whedon didn't say Hank & Jan wouldn't be there!
He slyly said "ANT-MAN" wouldn't be there!
He didn't say Jan/Wasp wouldn't be there or
Hank Pym as YJ or Giant-man wouldn't be there!!

Wright is actively pursuing an ANT-MAN movie!
It might be a different ANT-MAN than Hank Pym
but do ya think they would introduce that
ANT-MAN and not Hank & Jan!
I'm pretty positive Hank as YJ or Giant-man
will be there and Wasp will be there!

Whedon is just being very tight-lipped about
Hank & Jan. All Marvel is!

DDD: I left you this comment on another article but here it is again in case you missed it! :) I have a horrible feeling that Marvel are going to wait until the Ant-Man movie to introduce Hank and Jan, making them part of the team in The Avengers II! That will really suck as the team will be pretty bland without them IMO! Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye and Black Widow are all great but a guy who can grow as tall as a building (assuming they went for the more interesting Giant Man) and a woman who could shrink would make the Hulk fight a 100x more exciting and interesting! :P

Maybe Joss Whedon isn't talking about Hank & Jan
in the AVENGERS movie cuz he ain't even rewrote
the damm script yet! Geez, he can't just sh!t a
script out!

I think they are tossing the script that that hack
Zack Penn wrote and Whedon is starting all over!
I trust Whedon's writing! It's top-notch and his
directing of Serenity was top-notch! It wasn't
kid stuff like Buffy and Angel at all!!!!

I keep my comic book collection in a vault on top of
Mt. Rainier (It's right nearby me here and is 14,000
feet high-I live beside the Cascade Mountains, check
it on a map.) It is guarded by Lions like they use
to do with Lowenbrau beer and My cousin Vinnie who
is bigger 'n' me lives there with it!

tea/DDD: I'm really pleased to hear that my reviews inspired you to both start reading again! I would have loved to of made those reviews a weekly feature but because I get my comics in the post, there's guarantee as to when I get them, (sometimes on a Monday for example, when new issues are released on a Wednesday in the US) and they took bloody ages to write as well, lol! :P

LMAO, don't think I'll bother trying to rob you then DDD! My collection, although 4 comic boxes, only started back in 2005 (although I'd been reading graphic novels and reprints for years before that) so I have little in the way of classic issues! The oldest series I own is all five issues of Daredevil: Man Without Fear which I bought off eBay a few months ago! I'm hoping that stuff like my complete run on titles like Civil War and issues like Captain America #25 (featuring his death) will one day be considered as classics!

i agree with DDD hank & jan should be in the avengers, they are in all of the early avenger comics that i own. im less concerned about the norton issue though i think the new guy will do just fine lets give him a chance

Ruffalo replacing Norton sucks but Renner and the sheer awesomeness of the cast coming out makes up for it. We're getting the Avengers. It's on.

It's pretty obvious they had to bring RDJ out to announce Ruffalo. You can't boo RDJ.
