ATLANTA Actress Zazie Beetz Has Been Cast As Domino In DEADPOOL 2

We figured an announcement was imminent, and The Merc With a Mouth himself, Ryan Reynolds, has revealed via Twitter that Atlanta actress Zazie Beetz has joined the cast of Deadpool 2 as Domino.

After rumors of various actresses testing or being eyed for the role of Cable's super-lucky partner in crime in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, it's now been officially announced that German born Atlanta star Zazie Beetz will bring live-action life to Domino in the film.

Ryan Reynolds himself shared the news in a rather cryptic matter over Twitter:


Beetz will be known to most for her critically acclaimed turn in Atlanta as Van, but she's also appeared in the likes of Finding Her, Wolves, and Netflix's Easy. Deadpool 2 will be her first major feature role, however.

What do you guys think of this choice? Now we just have to wait and see who'll be playing Cable!

I don't like Atlanta as a show, but I like the acting a lot in it. She knocks every scene she's in out the park.

Just a thought, but how cool would it be if Uncle ben in the new spiderman flick was actually Stan Lee. Little CG to make him younger in like a flashback and bam! We have the greatest cameo in marvel history. Would you like to see that? #JustAThought Marvel

@TheEqualist - A ) They're not retelling the origin. B ) No. Aful. I'm sure Stan Would love being married to Marisa Tomei but no, that doesn't fit this version of things at all. And really, you want Stan's cameo to be a guy who eventually get shot? No. Just a bad idea all around.

@Curmudgeon - I disagree,they wouldn't have to retell the story just to do a flashback with him in it. Hes already dead in this version I believe, so a flashback to any memory would make sense. Just seems fitting imo.
