Talking with MTV recently, Ryan Reynolds was asked why he is so greedy about playing superhero characters.


"First off, Deadpool is not a superhero and he would stab you in the thorax if he heard you say that. I don't think I've ever said anything geekier than that in my entire life."

I've only played Deadpool for four and a half minutes thus far. When we're talking down the line and we're talking about the 'Deadpool' movie, at that point you can call me a greedy bastard."

I can't wait for the Deadpool movie. That'll be such an original movie. I just hope there aren't a bunch of copy cats after that; meaning breaking the fourth wall.

but i do agree with brazilianbatman that Ryan seems to be very serious and caring about the Green Lantern movie, its like hes thinking i cant afford to mess up and need to stop screwing around

Ajax and/or Taskmaster should be the villian. Dr. Killbrew and Striker should have a part in it to. I wonder if it will be an origin story or if DP will just summon his origin with a narration in the begining.

Ryan is a great Deadpool, he was my favorite part of the Wolverine movie. The deflecting bullets was so a classic over the top Deadpool momment! I'm with Superman4 Ajax and Taskmaster should be working together as the villains. What better way for DP to prove himself then by defeating Taskmasters under ground training thing.

Ryan Reynolds is DEAD POOL! I wont see Green Latern when I see Deadpool. Unlike EVans i will see the human torch.. ;( Evans also wasnt that great in Sunshine. Ryans will own as Deadpool! Hopefully Fox doesnt screw this shit up. However their track record is HORRIBLE!
@ Brashlight I sure hope to god your right man. It will be the saving grace.
