The world premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness takes place tonight, and ahead of the red carpet event, Marvel Studios has taken unprecedented steps to prevent spoilers for the movie from being shared online.
The studio has announced that official accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook have now disabled all replies and comments in an effort to discourage fans from spreading details about the sequel in the respective comments sections.
It's worth noting that this is the first time any major studio has done this, which would seem to suggest that Doctor Strange 2 is going to feature quite a few surprises.
Of course, it's rare that any superhero movie manages to escape at least a few leaks these days, and a plot breakdown (which may or may not be legit) has been doing the rounds for a while. Key scenes from the film also found their way online over the weekend. It's a shame, but if you've managed to evade spoilers up until now, we'd recommend avoiding certain keywords on social media for a few more days!
The first reactions to In The Multiverse of Madness should be online later tonight, so be sure to check back to find out what the critics (including our own Rohan Patel) made of this latest MCU adventure.
