DOCTOR STRANGE 2: Marvel Studios Disables Comments & Replies On Social Media Accounts To Prevent SPOILERS

Ahead of tonight's red carpet premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios has made the unprecedented move of disabling comments & replies on all official social media accounts.

The world premiere of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness takes place tonight, and ahead of the red carpet event, Marvel Studios has taken unprecedented steps to prevent spoilers for the movie from being shared online.

The studio has announced that official accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook have now disabled all replies and comments in an effort to discourage fans from spreading details about the sequel in the respective comments sections.

It's worth noting that this is the first time any major studio has done this, which would seem to suggest that Doctor Strange 2 is going to feature quite a few surprises.

Of course, it's rare that any superhero movie manages to escape at least a few leaks these days, and a plot breakdown (which may or may not be legit) has been doing the rounds for a while. Key scenes from the film also found their way online over the weekend. It's a shame, but if you've managed to evade spoilers up until now, we'd recommend avoiding certain keywords on social media for a few more days!

The first reactions to In The Multiverse of Madness should be online later tonight, so be sure to check back to find out what the critics (including our own Rohan Patel) made of this latest MCU adventure.

I’ve been spoiled unfortunately, but it just made me want to see the movie more!

Hopefully all this stuff is really about spoilers (despite the failure to prevent spoilers for most of their phase 3 movies) and has nothing to do with the studio's potential feelings on the final product

Too late. One of the spoilers actually had me annoyed with Kevin Feige for giving into the fans only to take it away in the same movie.

@PhoenixBlade - I legit got mad. I wasn’t even looking up Marvel stuff. I just heard a certain actor/director was making a prequel to his movies and I thought clicking his name would be about that movie but nope. SMH

I kind of know about some of those potential spoilers. I got spoiled however I still do not know the main story points of the movie like who is really the antagonist and just how exactly is the story solved.

"like who is really the antagonist"

I'm not sure how this is possible unless you ignored the trailers?

I will say it appears whatever they did to combat leaks for Thor Love and Thunder has worked quiet well.

It's simple, they made a movie nobody asked for and included choices that nobody liked such as making Gorr look like a discount Voldemort. Leaks generally tend to correlate with how much interest people have in a movie.

Thor 4 has attracted very little interest
