Actresses to play Invisible Woman in Fantastic Four Reboot

Actresses to play Invisible Woman in Fantastic Four Reboot

With Chronicles actor Michael B. Jordan rumored to play Human Torch in the Fantastic Four Reboot of 2015, Invisible Woman may need to be played by an African American actress as well because they are both brother and sister and the appearances of character relations need to make sense.

The Fantastic Four are four american heroes that have been some of the first heroes that debuted in Marvel comics since the 1960s. They were all (let's just say) plain american and their arch enemy Doctor Doom has always been the most popular of all Marvel comic book supervillains.

But now it appears certain changes are made to some of the characters' ethnicities which happened first off in Iron Man 3 with Ashley Hamilton casted as an unfortunate Jack Taggert and then with staff of Amazing Spider-Man 2 purposly casting Jaime Fox as Electro and now with Michael B. Jordan being rumored to join the rebooted Fantastic 4 movie as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, which means if that happens, Susan Storm the Invisible woman may need to be played by an African American actress as well because Susan is Johnny Storm's sister and these are the best candidates to do her in the reboot.

Not Zoe, nor Shanika Warren-Markland

I'm probably biased to Paula Patton as her, but that's just because from what I've seen, Zoe while a good actress does not lend herself to be Susan Storm-like in her characters, same with Shanika.

Paula has that dignified and series air about her that can make her believably in a lab coat as well as striking person in general and makes sense on a super hero team/unit.

@Magnus66

THOSE DAMN LIBERALS... grandpa is that you?

The reason its more okay to cast a black character for a traditionally-white character is because they're the minority. Let's stop living in the past.

Basically all of the superheroes are white because of when they were created. The actor's skin color doesn't affect the character, only the perception of the racist audience members like you.

I didn't mean to name call, I was just saying you happen to sound exactly like my grandfather...

anyway, I don't see how either of us can have an opinion before it's even been cast let alone released. You can't say its "forced" until you see it. Maybe they happen to have a good actor in mind for Johnny Storm and he happens to be black.

If they changed their races in the comics, that would be "forced" because there is no reason. This is a reimagining. It's not fair to say its forced.

@Magnus66

Hey I said I didn't MEAN to name call. It's not my intention to just be combative...

Anyway, I agree with you on some of those points, but sometimes it can heighten the story or make the media better. Your example of Alicia Masters doesn't make sense to me considering the fact that Kerry Washington portrayed her beautifully and it honestly made no difference.

Do I think it's racist that someone won't accept change because solely of someone's skin color? Yes, but don't take it personally.

I heard rumors about an african american actor Michael B Jordan being casted as human torch and if it happens, Invisible woman needs to be played by an african actress so that they do look brother and sister related otherwise it will get out of whack

@Magnus66

I understand what you're saying, but not why you have such a big problem with it. Even IF I'm wrong and the reason is to be more diverse, so what???

Also, did you really say you want the race switching to be even in both directions?? Think about that, it doesn't make any sense.

Also, you shouldn't keep attacking liberals. Isn't it FOX doing this anyway?? ;)
