I know a lot of people want the Green Goblin in the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man, but I would rather see the Chameleon and Kraven utilized.
For the setting of The Spectacular Spider-Man, I would love to see it set over a longer period of time, like a few months, which would span into the winter months, hence the snow in the posters.
I used Josh Brolin as Kraven, as I think he has the right look. I like the regal look Russell Crowe has in
Gladiator, so I used his armor, with minor tweaks.
This version of Kraven the Hunter would still be a big game hunter, and the fact that he is Chameleon's half-brother would be more prominent. I would want Kraven to become obsessed with catching this human spider, more or less like Kraven's Last Hunt.
Meanwhile, as the world watches Kraven hunt down Spider-Man, his half-brother would be working behind the scenes.
I know the first thing people are going to say is that he looks too much like Voldemort. Trust me, it took me a few days to finally come to terms with it.
Anyways, I have him using the face of Campbell Scott, playing Richard Parker in
The Amazing Spider-Man as a disguise. I'm hoping that the overseas aspect of Richard and Mary Parker will be explored in the first film, and that a connection between Richard Parker and Chameleon can be formed in
The Spectacular Spider-Man.
I went with Yvonne Strahovski for Black Cat. I really liked her in
Chuck and I think she would be great as Felicia Hardy. Also, I think the idea of using feline glasses instead of a domino mask, like in
The Amazing Spider-Man video game, was more practical, so I went with that route.
Black Cat is a fantastic character and very important to the Spider-Man mythos. I don't know exactly how she would fit into the film, but I think she would start out as someone investigating Oscorp and their dealings, and eventually team up with Spider-Man.
Let me know what you guys think about the posters! Thank you!
