Batman: Legends of The Dark Knight #2 titled All of the Above brings Batman face to face with a familiar DC Universe android that possesses all the powers of the JLA combined. How will Batman fend for himself while the Justice League are away?
Legends of The Dark Knight #1 is probably one of the greatest one–shot comics to ever exist in the past 5 years, especially as a Batman story. Now, we are introduced to another story that sadly wasn’t good as the first one, but is able to stay a good read. This series is definitely going to be good for the comic reader who doesn’t care about continuity or story-arcs.
The artwork in this book is much more realistic, clean and crisp than the last issue where the art styles was trashy and reminisce of The Dark Knight Returns. The action is very clear in this issue as to what is going on between Amazo and Batman. We also get a cameo of a tool that Adam West once used. If you have been following news of this book, you would already know what it is. Realistic and crisp art is exactly what this book needed and any other style would not have worked.

The story in this book doesn’t include too much fighting. Although, you still get to see Amazo destroy things. Batman uses his brain to get out of the situation that is presented as you would expect, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be slapped around once or twice. This is the type of plot where it ends where it begins and it wasn’t executed as brilliantly as it should have. It also wasn’t clear how Batman executed certain things, or how much time was in-between certain events. When we find out how he escaped the beginning’s conflict, it was through a flashback and we didn’t actually get to see that event in chronological order. Some of the events in this book could be confusing but overall the story was a decent treat, especially as a digital comic.
I am definitely recommending this book, but not if you are looking for something as great as the first issue. This book gets only a 6.5 out of 10 from me. What about you?
