FAN-MADE: Two Posters for The Crow Reboot

FAN-MADE: Two Posters for The Crow Reboot

A couple of posters I've made for the up and coming reboot of The Crow.

I have to get this out of the way. I DO NOT WANT A REMAKE OF THE CROW. EVER.
It's ridiculous to try and recapture what made it great. You can't do it, and you shouldn't try.

That being said, I -do- want another Crow film. About Eric Draven. Why? Because the 94' Crow film really isn't that close to the graphic novel. The film skips a lot of the of dream/hallucination sequences that Eric has; changes the story in various ways, and generally tones down Eric.

What I'd like to see is a film much closer to the source material, even if it does make it a lot less coherent.
If the makers can come out and just say that this isn't a remake, then I don't see why the fans should have such a problem.

This didn't start out as a poster, it was more of test to see what Cillian Murphy would look like in the makeup after talking about a reboot with a friend. I really quite liked how the manip turned out, so I thought I might as well turn it into a proper poster and upload it.
As I said before, the person I chose was Cillian Murphy, and you can see the original picture here: http://i2.listal.com/image/1313870/936full-cillian-murphy.jpg

I based my poster on one of my favourite illustrations in the graphic novel. It's just after Eric remembers when he proposed to Shelly in ''Like A Concave Scream''. I'm annoyed that I can't find a picture of it online, but I'm sure anyone with the novel will be able to recognise it.

Hope you like them!

Joseph Gordon Levitt would own as the Crow. preferebly a different incarnation of the character that is NOT Eric Draven. nobody will ever match Brandon Lee on that character and it would be best to just leave it alone.

also, Cilliam Murphy would do pretty well as the Crow, but my vote goes to JGL

I am the number one supporter for Cillian Murphy as the Crow and I am glad other people agree with me. Cillain Murphy's voice even sounds like Brandon Lee's a little bit.

Cillain and Joseph would both be good as the Crow. Yeah, you can beat Brandon Lee, but they'd make good Eric Draven's, shit, i'd even give Bradley Cooper a chance, i admit it.

These are good. *raises glass* Here's to the hope of Cillian playing him. Bradley doesn't seem right. I never thought about Cillian for the part until you guys mentioned him. Thanks.
