I have to get this out of the way. I DO NOT WANT A REMAKE OF THE CROW. EVER.
It's ridiculous to try and recapture what made it great. You can't do it, and you shouldn't try.
That being said, I -do- want another Crow film. About Eric Draven. Why? Because the 94' Crow film really isn't that close to the graphic novel. The film skips a lot of the of dream/hallucination sequences that Eric has; changes the story in various ways, and generally tones down Eric.
What I'd like to see is a film much closer to the source material, even if it does make it a lot less coherent.
If the makers can come out and just say that this isn't a remake, then I don't see why the fans should have such a problem.
This didn't start out as a poster, it was more of test to see what Cillian Murphy would look like in the makeup after talking about a reboot with a friend. I really quite liked how the manip turned out, so I thought I might as well turn it into a proper poster and upload it.
As I said before, the person I chose was Cillian Murphy, and you can see the original picture here: http://i2.listal.com/image/1313870/936full-cillian-murphy.jpg
I based my poster on one of my favourite illustrations in the graphic novel. It's just after Eric remembers when he proposed to Shelly in ''Like A Concave Scream''. I'm annoyed that I can't find a picture of it online, but I'm sure anyone with the novel will be able to recognise it.
Hope you like them!
