Hey guys this is my first article on ComicBookMovie, and I’d like to share my idea for a Thunderbolts Movie.
This is my idea for an awesome Thunderbolts movie, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Phase 3 or 4, depending on what events happen and characters are introduced).This will take aspects from both the original team and the government-run super villain reform team. I will go over the Team and the Plot.
So the team itself is a SHIELD run program which is designed to use villains as a team for covert op type missions (See Part 2), as well as the idea for a super villain reform program. The team is run by the Avenger Hawkeye. Why Hawkeye? for a few reasons: 1.Hawkeye had a crappy part in The Avengers and his interesting character could use a lot more development, 2. Hawkeye ran the Thunderbolts for a period of time in the comics, so the idea of him running the team in the movie sort of makes sense. Some of you may be asking, Why not Thunderbolt leader Luke Cage? Luke Cage might not even be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the time this movie comes out, and he would probably be portrayed as some street bum making money through Heroes for Hire rather than being the leader of a SHIELD team.
THE TEAM:
Hawkeye:
Team leader, appointed by SHIELD.
Abomination:
Ever since The Incredible Hulk, fans have wanted to see more of The Abomination. Imagine bringing him back as an imprisoned villain given a second chance under the watchful eye of Hawkeye? The short film Marvel One Shot: The Consultant showed that SHIELD wanted the Abomination for the Avengers Initiative; having him on the team is a no-brainer.
Radioactive Man:
Actor Xueqi Wang is set to appear as Doctor Chen Lu (the alias of Radioactive Man) in Iron Man 3. He was a Thunderbolt in the comics and is an interesting character. His abilities from exposure to radiation give him green-colored skin and the abilities to control radiation in various ways such as blast powers.
Songbird:
Though she hasn’t appeared on the big screen, Songbird was a founding member of the Thunderbolts, and the movie wouldn’t be the same without her. Songbird can produce supersonic screams which can cause a variety of effects such as disorientation, hallucinations, and unconsciousness.
Moonstone:
Another founding member of the Thunderbolts, Moonstone is a female fatale who could end up causing problems for the team. Moonstone gets her powers from an alien stone which was found on Earth’s moon. Her powers include; flight, intangibility, and the use of gravity to manipulate and move matter, create force fields, and to focus it for force blasts.
Fixer and Mach-I:
Fixer (bottom) and Mach-1 (top) are both such awesome characters, and were both founding members of the Thunderbolts. Fixer is a genius who uses a tech-pac; a mentally-controlled unit which he can shape shift at will, creating a virtual arsenal of weaponry and other equipment as needed. Mach-1 ‘s armor, built with the help of Fixer, makes its wearer a one-man jet fighter. It’s equipped with machine guns, missiles, and a grenade launcher (flash, gas, high explosive, etc.)
Ghost:
The mystery behind Ghost is what makes him such a cool character. The only thing known about him is his hatred for corporation, which makes him a perfect villain for Iron Man. The Ghost wears a special suit that enables him to turn himself and any objects he touches invisible or intangible. Devices in the suit enable him to hack and reprogram all manner of electronic systems nearby. He is a brilliant inventor, computer hacker, and was a member of the Thunderbolts.
And last but not least…
Sugar-Man!!!

Bullseye:
Bullseye is a fan favorite which everyone has wanted to see since the crappy Daredevil movie. The crazed killer and skilled mercenary would be a big threat for the leader Hawkeye, as well as the rest of the team.
